it fixed my jbl speaker thx a lot! it could connect to the bluetooth but no lights and sound were coming out, i think there was a software corruption or something and by reinstalling the firmware now it works like new.

HEY! Why does my new JBL Charger 4 not do "Call Audio"? It only does "Media Audio" in the Bluetooth pairing settings. My cheap Anker Bluetooth speaker does both.

The Charge 4 does not come with a built in microphone anymore. It’s really unfortunate that JBL decided to go that way with most of their latest Bluetooth speakers.

Literally any USB phone charge block will work with the supplied USB type C cable. Alternatively you can plug it into a high power USB port using the same cable.

Something is not quite right in your video. Not sure why your Charge 4 is showing as Flip 4 in the app? Is this even possible? I have checked my Charge 4 few times for updates after I bought it and there is no updates avalible. Actually the app is useless I cant even pair it with other speakers and the only thing it allowes me to do with it is turn off notification sound. I regret I actually bought this particular model 🤬

But what is the update for

Because that Charge 4 have already updated to the newest version so he have to use the Flip 4 as the example instead, but the main thing is it's all the same steps tho

Yes, but not louder and i experienced the Bass is more cleaner than v2. Well, this is my opinion, don't do this update if u not certain of the same.

Gabriel Leles I agree with u man. In terms of sound clarity and crisp, 3.0 sure is better but when it comes to bass, 2.0 is better.

This speaker doesn’t come with a microphone, so it can’t be used for phone calls.

As far as I remember, the flip3 uses JBL Connect, while Charge4 uses Connect+. That would make them incompatible.

The Connect app won’t help. Some Samsung phones support playing throw multiple Bluetooth devices now. But I also heard of people having problems with the synchronization.

@@n8n876 Got 2 flip 4. and a charge 4. The sounds is okey. But way over rated. They cant really play low tunes very well. If you use the party mode and connect em, the sound easy ( lags ) if someone move infront of them, and they allso do it, for every new track its plays.

Never had an issue. I have the exact same setup, and I run them on my 4 wheeler at max volume all day. They have been dunked under water and shook to all hell. I used to just run the two flip 4s, and it was OK, but now after adding the charge 4, it is super loud. Sounds real good to me.

yeah the flip 4 lowest frequency response is >70hz i remember And the Charge 4 is >60 or 65hz low
