@@dclegend4988the difference is big, you will hear the boombox 3 further away I think... the reason why there's not much difference is because boombox 3 is louder... and the bass kind of sounds the same...

Too bad the bb2 can't be charged in the car...I'm looking for my first speaker and it's either the 2 or 3...but charging in the car is very important...I'm a long distance driver...im not a guy who likes muds but bass and treble are very important. I'm leaning towards the 3 because I can charge in the car and I can dial the eq mids down I believe..is this all true?

yes its very bass heavy, best bass you will get for a portable bluetooth speaker its size!! and the treble an highs are clear. the boombox 3 has deeper bass than the 2 due to the subwoofer. both are great speakers but if you have the extra cash, go or the boombox 3 imo. yes the EQ is great and you can turn mids down if you wanted to do that. i like to turn the bass up +1 or +2 an turn the treble down -1. due to how bass heavy these speakers are, they can drain the battery a bit, i'd say get the one you can charge, they go louder when plugged in too

@@ralphwiggum3463 Thank you for replying and I did get the bb3 after all. I love it! I can't believe the bass! Deep and clean. I listen to r&r, r&b, no rap ever! Im an old guy and i cant stand that shit. I don't regret getting the bb3 and in my van I CAN charge the speaker...it's got a home electrical plug in it.

Listening with my Charge 5, i prefer the BB2..not too much bass/mid..just adequate...BB3 bass overpower the mids and overall quality of the song being played.

The biggest difference is that the BB3 has the woofers behind the tweeters with an additional single woofer in the middle. The bass can keep up and make a flat sound signature, which helps at 90% volume. The BB2 can sound nasal at around the 80-100% volume outside.

Boombox 2 has cleaner bass, and relaxing sound. Boombox 3 sounds bright and that causes ear fatiguing.

the boombox 2 has more bass than boombox 3 but boombox 3 is louder and better quality sound i would pick the boombox 2 because i am someone who likes loud strong and deep bass

@@jblflex2607 Not worth money. There is huge discounts on BB2 now. Spec is alike. You would not notice difference of 3dB power gain. It will be equally high volume.

Interesting point: at max. volume, the difference is subtle. Folks, after little tests, I got the Boombox 2. I found it more musical than the BB3. Starting with Classical music, Bocherini sonatas, and Bach Cello sonatas, are very good examples of why I got BB2: a subtle bass, respecting the frequencies. Yo-Yo Ma Bach Cello sonatas sound much, much better at BB2. You get the Cello sound, when I played at BB3, it delivered a deep resonant sound. Not natural, not real! Then let's get Joe Bonamassa's "Blues of Desperation" CD. BB3 delivered a deep sound which is not a Gibson Les Paul sound. Black Country Communion was the same, Glenn Hugh's bass was completely unnatural, too deep, too resonant. Let's get Halloween's latest CD: I liked how BB3 delivered the vocals, yes, and the sound was acceptable. But switching to BB2, I got better music and better overall sound. Well, BB3 is beautiful, and has much more bass - I think JBL has tried to replicate a Bass Reflex System with BB3, but for my taste, it got too much resonance. BB2 it fine fine-tuned, with a more natural sound, and a less colored sound. My two cents.

A BB2 parece ter mais grave aí no vídeo porque o som dela é mais abafado ,resumindo menos médio e agudo a boombox 3 pessoalmente deixa a bb2 no pelo em quesito em volume e grave

@@stefanooliveira7070 acabei comprando a 3 está semana TB, estou com a 2 e a 3 aqui em casa, tocando juntas não senti muita diferença não, volume e médios um pouco mais alto somente, a bateria da 3 não durou 4 horas, se 3:30 foi muito, vou vender a 3 e comprar outra 2. Não vale a pena está bateria pra tão pouca diferença não

Cara a 3 em local fechado e aberto é um monstro tem nem comparação com a 2 e bateria só escutar em 70 a 75%q vc vai ter uma autonomia de umas 7 horas com a BB3

Я как человек владел двумя BoomBox 2 И одной Boombox 3 Люблю бумбокс 2 Бумбокс 2 топ А особенно режим LFM Если вы хотите ультра громкий панч то вам только бумбокс 2 Если хотите послушать негров 25-40HZ опять таки бумбокс 2 А бумбокс 3 может играть только обычную популярную музыку и звучит он не то что бы хорошо... Разочарован
