Hi bro I have a question Is it better with two boombox 3 or one boom box 310. When you add up the out put power the boombox has the most power What’s your thoughts on this You have both the speakers right can you check it

I'm glad you highlighted the powercord feature. I have many devices that use that adapter. My BB3 is being delivered today!

Well, I am no audiophile, but even with all considerations - soundwise I mean, BB2 has a better, more mellow, sound.

My first portable speaker was the Bose Soundlink speaker. I got it free with purchase of a new phone. I couldn’t believe the sound coming from that little thing. Forward, I now have alsmist every JBL speaker made. I love partyboost for the backyard bbqs

Found your channel I'm looking for a speaker for the outdoors to have some music when gardening or having BBQ or birthday parties... Love your tests and comparisons, but I see you cover mostly JBL and Sony. Have you looked into Harman Kardon or other manufacturers to see if there is a competition?

I do have the bb2 and i can agree that pass 80% volume the bass will stay at 80 while the highs and vocals go 100 and I honestly think that bb3 will provide more balance at higher volume thanks to its sub woofer and the bass will be distributed far better than bb2 but in reality bb2 is a great option till today since not a lot of people can distinguish any difference not like us bassheads

Boombox 3 bass also limits at 80%, most speakers do

Yep,the problem is that bb2 cannot deliver that very low bass frequency somewhere 30hz ,starts somewhere around 45hz wich is not very good for what they’re asking for it.correct me if I’m wrong.

The bb3 to my ears doesnt have a lot more bass, but it does have significantly more upper mids than the bb2 which i think is because the woofers on the bb3 are way more focused on mids than on the bb2

Thanks for the video, I think a sound comparison at 50% 80% 100 % would be great. Not at just one volume set. Also an outdoor and indoor sound comparison would be great

Both are just absolutely fabulous … but I think I love jbl 2 is still amazing because it sound is competitive with boombox 3 in reasonable less amount of money ..

I remember a couple years ago debating buying the boom box 2 for sale on Amazon prime day when 3 released. After all this time I’m done holding out I’m buying the damn 2!!

I think you should review Harman Kardon Go + Play 3 and compare with these, it should be an alternate option

Hello friend i have 1 xtrem 2 and i plan to buy bombox3 to connect to each other, but unfortunately they can't connect, so can you tell me if bombox 2 can connect to xtrem 2, thanks .

I heard the Boombox 3 wifi model sounds even better than the Bluetooth version. But the wifi model got rid of any party boost so you can't use 2 together but at CES the Xtreame is getting Auracast but not wifi. The removable battery seems like the newest thing to be happening on all the lineup over time.

I think the removal of partyboost makes it not worth it. Even just adding a single flip 6 makes a pretty noticeable difference in surround sound

Bro i still blast my two Boombox 1s and they still going strong. I have 2 xtreme 1s they are about 7 years old and unfortunately one of them is now having battery life issues. However for how old they are i think they are still solid speakers

When my Xtreme's battery was no longer any good i thought about getting a Xtreme 2 or 3, but then thought if the only problem is the battery then why not just replace the battery. So i looked on ebay for a replacement battery and found one. I watched you youtube videos on how to replace the battery, which is pretty straight forward. After it was done it gave my speaker a new lease of life.

Had lucky. The standard price of a boombox 3 here is around 500 euro's. Few days back it was for 1 day only 250 euro's. So I got one. 🙌 It was time to upgrade the original boombox. It's still great. And specialy the battery. But I got one for work now and boombox 3 for home.

I'd say Boombox 2 sounds better, more neutrally tuned, smoother mids and treble. It's way more enjoyable than Boombox 3, which is harsh

how much run time are you getting out of the 3 I'm getting 4 hours at 3 4 clicks down from full volume. I'm thinking of returning it just doesn't last long enough for work.

In this video Boombox 3 sounds bright, which leads to ear fatiguing. Boombox 2 sounds warm, makes music more enjoyable.

I just bought a boombox three for 89 bucks at Walmart. I don’t know why they went on sale that low, but I had to grab it up.

Boombox has the same quality sound. The only difference is the BB3 has more bass, hits lower lows.

B3 performance be like Party box 💥

Hope these are set at default. I think it’s purely preference. I like my music with more treble with mids just below. The 3 sounds better in regards of brassy music like edm. The 2 sounds muffled especially when the bass hits which I dislike. For the price if the 2 is appealing now I’m just wondering if I can pick up the treble and mid.

Boombox 2 good in 2023?? I’d say even the original boombox is great! Every JBL Bluetooth speaker holds up except for maybe the Flip, Flip 2, and Charge!

just picked up a boombox 2 at Marshall’s for 200$??? And since I had a 100$ giftcard I got for Christmas I got it for basically the amount I paid for my flip 6, I am absolutely impressed with the bass,

Yes. You can listen to it while it is plugged in. And it gets even louder when plugged in.

And wow, the 3 really does sound much better at higher volumes

got my boombox 3 for a sick deal, it dit cost 250 euros. i would say there isnt a better deal then that.

Boombox 2 is good (have 3 of them) Boombox 3 is better (have 2 of them) what is annoying is how unstable they are and can easily roll, especially the BB3, add in it's metal parts instead of plastic and it can be scary placing it some places. If there's something out there that can be used as a better base for the speaker, I'd be interested in it. Just put an order in for a Diamondboxx L3 and thinking about getting their SUB8.2 to go with it too.

It's good. Way less latency than Bluetooth. So if you have wifi, it's an upgrade in terms of playback and latency

I have jbl boombox and partybox 110. There is no reason to carry 12Kg rather than 5Kg. Indoors jbl boombox sounds equal with partybox at max level. Furthermore jbl boombox is waterproof with double ⏫ battery 🔋🔋 duration! Realistically partybox 100 or 110 shines only outside. If you use indoors at max level you will not notice any difference. I use it in my car 🚗💨 too. Practically Jbl boombox is identical in my car too, but partybox has more bass and the window tremble.

As i mentioned partybox 100 or 110 shines only outside. The bass is much better outside and you can listen partybox from 80 meters distance, but boombox 2 or 3 from 50 meters. Additionally partybox gives the sense of a concert music, fill the space 🚀 with music and it is superior only outside. But on the other hand, why don't you buy partybox 310 which is by far better than partybox 100, 110. It sounds much stronger by 25% in volume and you can listen it from more than 100 meters far away. Partybox 310 is the ultimate portable partybox and with a longer life battery at 18 hours against 12 hrs of 110.
