I love RATM, and I arguably prefer your take, Jess. It was mindblowing.

I love that series because it shows the respect and enthusiasm that these drummers have for the music.

She definitely served the song. I like when the drummers are close to the original because it’s fun when they have the same instincts but it’s also pretty awesome when they have a completely different take. Great job

Love your comment about the ride part possibly coming into her head when working with a new song down the road. Expanding horizons.

This women is Bad ass. It sounded totally great. Not much different, but with her own twist. She is super humble. The point it not to sound like the original, that would literally be impossible. The song rocked with her in it.

Artist recommendation: RAYE I think Escapism. is her biggest hit and for good reason, it really shows off her range and variety. And her voice in Mary Jane is absolutely mindblowing

You should absolutely look into a band called Imminence. They're incredible live and they're the only metalcore band I've ever heard where the lead singer screams into a violin. They're definitely unique and worth a listen

Highly recommend checking out : Sault- a place to hide. It’s got great piano, the 2 singer remind me of micheal jackson and seal. Also in my opinion has the best guitar solo written last year. Definitely a gem of a song!

Still hoping you get to The Plot in You, Feel Nothing.... Just a great intro to this band who is a real intersection of BMTH, Slipknot, Bad Omens, etc... cept they didn't follow they kinda came in at the same time and sound evolved...

I dare say her rendition might be better than the original...wow. at least close in many places

if you like starset there is a new song called Brave new world, its more metalcore inspired and heavy but it has a ton of piano and other instruments i think its worth a listen!

These videos always make my day better! David, you should check out Bilmuri’s new single “emptyhanded!” It’s the greatest blend of country/pop/metal called either “y’allternative” or “billycore”

One underrated rap song that I think you’d love would be Jesse James by Scarface from “The Diary” album a rap classic it has piano drums etc a real gritty song love your content🫡

because they are hearing it for the first time and its not their own genre of music either. PLUS if ur in this situation, why would u wanna do something super simple and boring? the point is to have fun with it and add your own drums so thats what they do. imagine you in this situation, and you gotta do it on the fly, and be creative. when given free reign to do whatever you want your creativity takes over and thats what you're seeing.
