Jay-Z's Business Partner: How To Transform Your Passion Into Profit (& make MILLIONS)

In this episode, we welcome Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin: a distinguished businessman and social justice advocate known for spearheading several multibillion-dollar direct-to-consumer ventures, specifically in licensed merchandise, trading cards, and sports betting. Michael provides meaningful insights into the common pitfalls in brand building, loving what you do, and the flaws of the United States criminal justice system.
Michael shares how his journey in entrepreneurship began, his eyewitness account of unfairness in the American court system, working with Meek Mill, Jay-Z, and Desiree Perez of Roc Nation to spearhead the Reform Alliance, and how to balance work and family life. Throughout the conversation, he discusses the pursuit of exceptional talent, how routine-setting positively impacts productivity, and the strategic setting of billion-dollar goals.

Ekla Chalo Re (Rabindranath Tagore) If they answer not to your call walk alone If they are afraid and cower mutely facing the wall, O thou unlucky one, open your mind and speak out alone. If they turn away, and desert you when crossing the wilderness, O thou unlucky one, trample the thorns under thy tread, and along the blood-lined track travel alone. If they shut doors and do not hold up the light when the night is troubled with storm, O thou unlucky one, with the thunder flame of pain ignite your own heart, and let it burn alone. . This poem & it's creator needs invasion..🔥🔥😤😤

Being fearless isn’t enough. I’ve been fearless my whole life. Let’s be real, success is mainly based on natural born abilities, mixed with luck. Even people who say, I put in the work and learned new skills…. Guess what, being diligent and learning new skills, are actually natural born skills in most cases. Some people just learn easier than others, some people have a better chemical balance in their brain to stay focused, a lot of it also has to do with health more than people care to admit. And not everyone starts at 0 in life, a lot of people start at -1000. The truth is, a lot of people’s success has a lot more luck than they care to admit.

I am not a business expert 😅 but I am wondering if I can give you one suggestion to save some money for your dress. You don’t have to change your dress on every podcast, I mean I love seeing you in different dress but if you make a same dress like a company’s dress, you don’t have to change dress or may be you don’t have to worry about what to wear. Just my suggestion or I would even like to consider it as care for this very valuable podcast on the planet ❤💙. Peace --Pramod

I love Jay Shetty’s channel and he always brings amazing people with very valuable interviews however, this one fell below the average. It lacked honesty from the guest. My opinion is that no one comes out of womb knowing how to do business at the age of 8. It gotta have something to do with the way his parents raised him in early age, interactions with people, dynamics with family like siblings or relatives, crucial experiences, family background etc. the way he talks about himself seems like it comes from a place of ego rather than willingness to teach or show the world useful info. Saying that entrepreneurship is not for everybody and you gotta try it, sorry but that’s not original. Everyone knows that.
