He's at a small comedy club in Hermosa most weekends and you can pretty much just go talk to him if you want to. He's just a normal dude that happens to be rich

I don’t love my job but I’m really glad I helped build that minivan, I’m not sure we’ve ever built one that mattered more 🇨🇦❤️

What an amazing experience this was!!! Kelly’s staff was incredible & we want to thank you all for being so kind. Bella, Christian & I are so thankful for this once in a lifetime opportunity and will never forget how special it was.

I never thought anyone could hold down Carson's program, but Jay did a terrific job with it. His philanthropic activities are so awesome. In my mind, he is a national treasure and should receive the Presidential Medal Freedom.

Jay, I have had several wheelchair vans the last 40+ years. Yesterday, I purchased the same type of van you gave Bella, and you're right this is the best of the best. I like the way BraunAbility does their conversion. Other companies take shortcuts, and BraunAbility doesn't, resulting in a better vehicle.

So, because you are either not in a position to be involved with a kind and decent gesture, or because you didn't/wouldn't, you point out and shake your finger at those [such as Jay, the folks who donated the van and its conversion and Kelly] who can and do? Or, worse, you're critical of their motives? How about just being happy that Bella and her family are being treated so nicely with something that will make their lives a bit easier. Too many folks being critical of others. Shame on you!

A lot more celebrities should spend to families in need. Because the rich can afford it. Better than buying another boat, sports car or more diamonds - they actually don’t need.

Apparently you have no idea what Jay does and has done for people using his own money. In fact, you can go through KZread and see many of the things he has done . Without even scrolling I see two videos where Jay helped people . He has even auctioned off cars and given his own cars away to raise money for people of events . He's working on doing a charity show to raise money for the burn center where he was treated .He is constantly entertaining troops around the world and helping vets

Very nice thing to do, but how about doing it without national recognition? When our neighbor recently donated a vehicle to someone who really needed, but couldn't afford it, he and his wife didn't call the local or national news to run a story about their benevolence. I'm sure many people posting here have done similar nice things without expecting any special recognition from the media, etc.

Give Jay a break. Please. He didn't use it in any negative way at all. When he was younger, it was perfectly acceptable. He clearly had to mention several things in this segment (rewatch it and you'll see) and he was rushing. Or, you can start a push to cancel him over this slip. Because, why not? But you're better than that. Aren't you? Take the high road on this one.

I'm not going to excuse poor behavior just because "they didn't mean it". The road to hell was paved with good intentions. Remember that....and another thing, don't talk to me like you know me. This is something I feel passionate about and it's disrespectful, period. If it was a conversation over the "N" word for African Americans or the "f" word for homosexuals, it would've set the world on fire. This kind of thing isn't ok and it shouldn't be swept under the rug. This needs to be acknowledged and corrected.

If the word "handicap" has a beggar connotation to it: it is because you hear it that way and not necessarily the intention of the speaker. Here is what I found when Googled..."A disability may be physical, cognitive, mental, sensory, emotional, developmental or some combination of these. A handicap is an inability to accomplish something one might want to do, that most others around one are able to accomplish. For example, reading, walking, catching a ball, or communicating. I'm sure this young person would LOVE to take a shower by her self, but cannot, so she is handicapped in that function. This woman and her husband are amazing people that deserve a tremendous amount of credit for helping those that could use some extra help. Jay Leno set out to help this family and their school with an update to their transportation needs. Jay should not be criticized because you didn't like his choice of words. This could go on much longer, but it wouldn't change anything. Let me apologize for being "ridiculed all your life and given a hard time for being disabled" just know it was never by me, since I don't speak to anyone "EVER"; as it seems you can't say anything today that can't be twisted from a positive to a negative. That seems to go for actions as well as words. Thank you Jay and the Kelly Clarkson show. It seems good people still exist in this world today.

I don't need a man that isn't even disabled to give me a vocabulary lesson and "manspain" what those words mean. I don't subscribe to the idiotic idea of "cancel culture", it's dumb and as new as the concept is, it's already old to me. This isn't about "canceling" anyone. This is learning opportunity. Period. A handicap means just what it is described as being. I take no offense. If you do, it is your issue, not the speaker's. I am certain, in Jay's instance anyhow, offense was not intended. BTW, I am "handicapped." I do NOT consider myself disabled. I am still functional/productive. Look up what disabled means. I'll even do it for you: "disability is a functional limitation with regard to a particular activity." Handicapped is: "the condition of being unable to perform as a consequence of physical or mental unfitness." Handicap is appropriate. Please keep your neurosis in check - or is that offensive, as well?

Folks the last school broke many ADA mandates. Please sue that school and that district. The ADA trumps worthless teachers unions. The penalties can be severe, not even to mention the damages to your daughter and family. God bless.
