Well folks thats how it goes sometimes! didnt even stand up on a wave, didnt see one i liked haha! had a great time with my boy eli and zoard on a little adventure though, and that shorebreak, due to lower period swell and northerly direction it was more aggressive then usual what a crack up! eli was so mad at me for making us go back in through it instead of using ski lol! epic little trip catching up with maui boys and social hour in the water! hope you guys enjoyed the the adventure and happy new year!

You are right, sometimes to goes well and sometimes not. It is still good for us normal surfers to see the top guys don't always have perfect, blow-out sessions. Are you using the full deck pads just on your bigger boards? I have been using on my boards (all between 6'4" and 7'6") for a while. Saves on waxing up! Thanks for all your content and session pointers.

So I’ve matured and decided to stick with the brands I’ve made the most money with … being vans and O’Neill. The owner of O’Neill I did not realize was the same owner , La Jolla group . I publicly insulted La Jolla group and in turn lost money over it even with the apology after the fact. There’s a sort of grey area in advertising when the product has to speak for itself well it did that today but my verbal altercation lead to threatening lawsuits against the brand that has done nothing but try their best to provide for me even when I was ignorant to their doing so

Yeah, I was coming here to say the same thing. I actually lost my stomach a little bit as the view lunged down and it's not just because I ate too much shrimp scampi last night. It's very difficult to get a sense of scale with ocean waves on POV video - and seeing that board caught in the wave with surfers down below really put things in perspective.

Possibly a dumb question...but would it be practical/economical to store a stash of surf boards in longterm storage UHaul container centers in each of the popular big wave spots around the world? This way you could fly around without the extra cost of the surf boards and without the headache of the boards getting damaged or lost etc?

its not a dumb question, i have literally begun leaving boards in select locations because of the loss of them for certain trips, my goal is to have a stash in every country over the next few years then fly boardless
