JAW JACKIN PERCH, Fighting Through the Early Ice Dinks

The bitter cold that came with winter storm Elliott locked up some of the shallow bays along Lake Ontario's south shore, giving us the opportunity to get out on some early ice here in late December. As is typical early ice, the bay is loaded with dink perch, with a few jumbos mixed in. My new Jaw-Jackers were really effective on the perch this trip, catching most of my bigger fish. I'm excited to try them more as this winter goes on and the bigger fish move in.
