It is like the fat free diet, people have been brainwashed into thinking more government is good for you. One of my favorite quotes from Milton is "there is nothing more permanent than a temporary government program."

It's always notable to see libertarians (misanthropes) lie by omission. In this case, failing to point out that in Scandinavian countries and countries like mine, a properly functioning government can be beneficial to the individual and to the collective. For example, Norway's sovereign wealth fund, which currently stands at US$270,000 per Norwegian citizen. And if you look at the wellness/health and happiness index of the citizens of different countries, Scandinavian countries always come out on top.

I could easily balance the US budget by cutting out much of the fat/waste. Mostly, politicians, and, of course, about 95% of the agencies we now have. Milton Friedman spoke at length about HUD. People may know, Catherine Austin Fitts, one-time Assistant Secretary of HUD, once said that she had commented to a coworker while she was at HUD. She said, _"This agency operates like a criminal organization,"_ and her coworker replied, _"That's because that's what it is."_ Go watch the 'National Debt Clock' sometime. -We- They probably spend $1,000,000 about every 20-25 seconds, on average. *Their* -money- currency actually does grow on/in trees, as it's merely paper that says *I.O.U.*

More government is so dangerous if it does more, it must be a small jurisdiction, not the whole country. The more it does, the more local it needs to be so people can still take refuge at grandmas house without leaving the country. The good ideas and applications vs. the bad will show the market what works under local control and avoid nationwide errors.

In light of the current economic trends indicating a potential downturn in the stock market and an impending recession, coupled with falling inflation rates, investors are advised to consider diversifying their portfolios. Exploring alternative assets such as gold and crypto trading would be a strategic move to hedge against the expected market volatility and inflationary pressures. This approach is crucial in navigating the complex financial landscape shaped by fluctuating Federal Reserve policies and the broader economic climate........Amidst this the insights of a knowledgeable guide like Francine Duguay can be crucial. Her expertise in navigating the nuances of cryptocurrency investments has been the key to understanding and making the most of these emerging financial trends...managed to grow a nest egg of around 4 b,tc to a decent 21 b,tc in the space of a few months

This is a good statement. I think the challenging response that you get to this is: How are we going to protect ourselves from an invasion from a place like China if we don’t have a department of defense? The assumption is that we won’t have a military at all because in a free society who would want to be in a private military? It is difficult to imagine an armed unorganized populace defending themselves against an organized military. On the other hand, if you are a peaceful nation providing goods to the world, why would anybody attack you.

I'm not impressed with Milei, although time of course will tell. . This video conveniently doesn't mention what Milei is keeping (?!?). In theory it may work out. Equally if not more important though are imo two major dynamics that could flatten any gains Milei's anarco-capitalist changes may or may not bring. Don't want to rain on the parade here, but... The first is the role of corruption. Who are going to be the winners and losers when things get privatized, I wonder? Even not considering the slum-dwellers, which one might rationalize doing, what about the middle class, which provide social stability in any society? How well will the middle class do from the privatizations? I don't know, I'm asking. Secondly, Milei is really in bed with the neocons, meaning he's Zionist 100%, literally wrapped himself in the Israeli flag didn't he? wtf, really not a good look. For that matter Trump for me has lost all credibility not only with the Light Speed covid thing, completely illegal, but also him bowing at the Wailing Wall, his daughter "converting" to Judaism, whatever that means... America not quite first there Mr. Trump. Along with this neocon orientation in the LONG RUN may mean yet more pain for Argentina. Milei is throwing in with US unipolar i.e. imperial vision, now obviously entering a waning phase of increasingly obvious obsolescence. BRICS was going to take Argentina in, but Milei pulled out. Not sure for what good reason? Any more than Germany is blindly serving as a vassal state to the US, meaning the neocon cabbal in charge, at the cost of their own economy! Germany demilitarised and deinstrialized, who'da thunk it? And for what? So a few manufacturing go to the US, really? So the collective can charge up their industries and economies by making weapon, really??? For the global south, BRICS is the name of the game, obviously. For the Saudis, for China, for India - that's most of the people and more of the money (since 2020) on the planet isn't it? Just not more of the military bases.... So Milei, I don't know. He's a another puppet imo. God help Argentina, I doubt Milei's going to be much help.

This video is extremely irresponsible given that the people involved didn't do their due dilligence which would have taken them a total of 5 minutes (for instance checking what his ministry of economics and finances has stated as their proposed budget, it's larger), and instead decided to just repeat what they read somewhere else. milei has raised taxes twice including income tax, he has blocked trade, he has done actions to raise interest rates, he has monopolized funding sources to the imf, etc. he is a libertarian in name only. This video should be taken down and an apology given. He is a clear trojan horse.
