Hopes for Javier Milei's 'success' as Argentina's President following budget surplus

Webster University assistant professor Ralph Schoellhammer says there’s a “certain delicious irony” after Argentina’s far-right President Javier Milei oversaw the nation’s first monthly budget surplus in over a decade.
“He goes directly to the people,” Mr Schoellhammer told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“And we see even the demonstrations against him, like the public unions - like there are demonstrations, but they are very careful.
“So his approval ratings - his popularity with the people is very high.
“If he can keep that up, if he can continue to communicate to the people that these reforms are going to be hard but ultimately going to pay off, he might really be successful.”

Seems to be a precedent that's being set here. When one has a leader that sets good examples, trimming the fat as it were, cutting out what overbloats the budget thus rebating the taxpayer in the process. And not to mention being proud for once to rally behind said leader with enthusiasm to get back to work because of national pride coupled with a leader that compliments is the blueprint of a successful country and citizens. Why isn't this replicated everywhere. Because with good productive leaders you get a flourishing country, and public morale at all time highs. This is how one does it.

For America, it's more than the POTUS position. Trump will have enough resistance from within the non elected bureaucracy to achieve reform. He needs the entire Congress to help ferret out those elements within the bureaucracy that consider fellow Americans more of a threat than the forces outside of America. They need to vote in conservative voices from the halls of the Senate and House, to their local city councils and boards of education. That's the only way they can show their elites who actually controls the reigns of power.

I remember chainsaw Al Dunlap, did the same to businesses around the world, made short term profit, but long term pain. I think his system requires the population to have a work mindset.

As an Argentine, it's absolutely offensive to compare our President Milei, to Trump...the ONLY thing they have in common is neither one is a Politician, thus are outsiders. Thats it. Milei is a kind, warm, caring, intelligent man. He's an academic. ❤

The more government administrators and government workers you have the more money is siphoned off. More regulation require more money from the citizen that wants to accomplish anything. San Francisco a contractor offer to build a public toilet for the homeless. He would pay for everything. The government would require over a million dollars in fees.
