Javed Akhtar always talks about Lucknow, Gwalior, Bhopal, Bombay but never about Khairabad where his roots are. He only mentions the word Khairabad when he takes the name of his ancestor, Allama Fazl-e-Haq Khairabadi. A person who always prosletyses his culture, tahzib, etc. always ignores his ancestral home. Only a visit or two by him is just a white-wash. Double standards so far as his personal likes or dislikes are concerned. Anyone having contacts with Javed Akhtar, reading these comments, may very kindly convey this message to him.
