The Fox Body Mustang has earned a great drag racing reputation in its home country - the US of A.
So, when Jason Waye, the man behind Muscle Garage and Tuff Mounts, was looking for an R&D car to slip a Turbo Barra into, the Fox Body was high on his list of desired vehicles. What he's ended up with is a tough-as-nails, nine-second, drag-and-drive warhorse.

I see so many Barra conversions but is it better than a coyote in this case? I've seen them in so many mustangs can't help but wonder. At least its still Ford

@@PozzaPizzcoyote is a great engine but very expensive to buy and parts cost more, but its just as capable of power

Been waiting for a new installment of Haltech Heroes and it's well worth the wait! Also, it's nice seeing a Foxbody Mustang cross the Pacific to Australia.^^
Would love to see more Barra setups stateside. Thought about it for my Ford F100 build. If you ever want to develop a Barra kit for the 03-11 Ford Crown Victoria subframe I’ll gladly be a test mule lol. Would be fun letting people assume it’s the venerable old Ford 300 when you tell them “oh it’s just got an old Ford inline 6 under the hood” 😇

Love that @adamlz video taking people in his gt350 Barra swap and he said imagine his setup in a foxbody
Iconic, and an absolute weapon
You guys need to get on the Vortec 4200 train! I was doing those kind of times with a Stock Bottom End 4200 in a Fox Body Station Wagon that probably weighed 600 pounds more.

The Skid Factory/ Bennys Custom Build was actually set up in this Car, using the Tuff Mounts Platform to make their life so much easier for assembly of the black Foxbody in the USA. It was awesome to have been able to help those guys out.
Why do Fox body guys insist on having cowl hoods even if it's not needed like w Barra swaps etc?????

Cowl hoods are iconic on foxbodys. They are used for clearance, weight and to let cool air flow through the engine bay at speed.
