Minor spoiler for Penns code talk below. Other magicians that have been on the show say Penn and Teller sit there and talk for 5-10 minutes. Allison asks like 5 questions and then it all gets edited for TV. So Penn has some time to come up with the code talk stories. He doesn't come up with it in a few seconds. Still impressive to think up stories using codes words and tying it in with their act in a few minutes.

Omg Alyson just won my heart forever and ever when she dropped that bomb at the end. 😂😂😂😂 She really caught me off guard! Lol!

I love how Alison at the end just continued the joke with the ''Don't F"$%ing go anywhere'' and it came out as a surprise to both Penn and Teller. Amazing performance, great stuff

This is such a perfect routine, it’s hard to make mentalism entertaining before you get to the revelation but this was engaging the whole way through.

As a fellow performer, can I just say that this was THE best version of this trick I've EVER seen. What a brilliant way to revamp a tedious, old trick into something new and edgy! Full marks my friend, full marks!

Easy trick - while off-stage he read their minds, discovered the numbers they had not yet even thought of, added them together, and wrote the answer on the label under the lid. Either that, or he is a real magician!

I’m not a fan of prediction stuff, but I am a fan of this act and I am a fan of you. Entertaining as hell, and I always get a kick out of repeated censored swearing.

I have really bad ADD, too (and narcolepsy) so I finally got meds for them, but my brain still works differently and needs an outlet or I overthink constantly. Focusing sucks and art helps - I love painting and sketching but have been very drawn to cards lately. The fact you didn’t start till college makes me want to practice more. Keep doing what you’re doing bro, big ups.

I also am ADHD (diagnosed as an adult) and how he talked about interactions being puzzles where you need to be on your toes being the only time your brain goes quiet is so true! I became a paramedic earlier in my life to get that extra dopamine and adrenaline, ha ha.

I normally hate Mentalists, but this was really entertaining and fresh.

You know, the producers have a surprisingly good sense of humor, depending.

Not generally a fan of mentalism but this one engaged for its entire length.

He was looking up at Alyson at the beginning then appeared a bit taller than her during the P and T dialog. Or was that observation just an illusion? Both his stage presence and performance were very good. Great twist on an old trick.

I thought I knew how this is done. But I was wrong. A super easy way to do predictions is to hide a marker of some sort on your thumb, and as you talk with someone, write what you need revealed. Then you pass it off as an earlier written guess. I thought he did the mental math of their guesses and, as he had Alyson reading the fake guess from inside the jar, wrote the sum on the lid of the jar. But he's not holding the jar lid 🤬 he couldn't have written their answers after the fact. 🤬 I have no f🤬 clue how he did it 🤬

This dude looks like a nonthreatening version of Gabriel Gray. Also props for refraining from splitting the verb phrase in the sentence "nobody will be even close." That felt deliberate. Was it deliberate? If it was deliberate, I love you.

Al Crayon is a pocket crayon. writes it in his pocket & uses sleight of hand to stick it to the lid.

It's the story about winning the "Al Koran medallion" because he swore a lot. Al Koran had a trick whereby a number was on the back of a Medallion. Ergo he's saying this guy used the same trick as Al Koran's technique.

Duck censorship.. and autocorrect.

Competition seems to be a key word and AL Koran medallion.

I don't think Penn knows exactly about it.

They speak in code. For example, in this Penn brought up the swearing competition w/ fellow magician Al Koran. Al Koran has been dead since 1972. It was just Penn's code speak for saying he did an updated Al Koran trick. He said he won the Al Koran Medallion, Al Korans trick was called "The Golden Medallion".

It's coded in Penn's story. The trick is a revamp of an old trick called "The Gold Medallion" created by the late Al Koran. Penn codes this into his bs story lol and that's how the magician knew that P&T knew.
