Thank God there are still good people in this world. This is the only positive comment I could find. I applaud you sir. He's human. As we all are. We all fuck up, some worse than others. I agree with you, regardless of his past antics, I cannot help but wish him the best if he is truly trying to be a better person.

The guys trying to get his life back on track and all anyone wants to do is insult him. Hes done some VERY questionable things and I understand if some people can't forgive his actions, thats fine, but don't stoop to the lows of spamming his vids with hateful comments. Just don't watch them. Simple as. I believe deep down, hes a good dude, who's just had a tough time.

Same here, I'm glad he's at least trying to make things the right way for himself and the ones around him. I've been worried about Jason for some time, and you can see he's not the same guy we all came to love years ago. But he seems to be on a better place right now, mentally, physically and emotionally, and that's a good beginning.

"Don't watch videos" is not a valid defense. We can't psychically guess what Miller's currently saying. We have to watch the video for that...after which, leaving what we think is perfectly valid.

I still think Mayhem is world class when he's serious, and not injured. The Bisping fight was retarded, he kept his hands down and taunted instead of throwing (regardless of gassing), and the Dollaway fight his knee's looked fucked.

I didn't say it was okay, dude. Take a reading comprehension class. I simply said that he wasn't saying it out of racist motivation, he was just saying it to make someone angry. Don't sit there on your hypocritical high horse and act like you've never said something mean to anyone before that didn't actually represent how you really feel when you're not angry. People like you are the reason so many people with psychological problems go un-helped, untreated, and un-cared for and many eventually commit suicide. Maybe if more people would offer a helping hand or a kind word towards someone that's lashing out due to emotional problems (like Mayhem is obviously doing), our world and its people wouldn't be going down the fucking crapper right now. Chew on that for a while.

HTIDann Just because you are afraid to see yourself for what you are doesn't reflect negatively on my point. My point was valid. You just refuse to see it because you don't want to believe that your behavior can be the cause of someone else's misery. At least Mayhem apologized publicly for what he said to Uriah and admitted he was wrong for saying it. Does it make you feel bad that the "idiot" you're criticizing has more of a conscience and more balls to recant what he said than do you?

THEY NEED TO PAY HIS ASS 50 Million to do a couple fights, wtf ??? they waiten for? he is still only 36 or so, still in his prime if he takes it really serious! i think he would easily have 3 years if he wants it. He would be Much more dangerous now in his mid late 30's, than he was in early 20's imo. all that XP and still prtty young to use it. Hell Miller if your reading this, its MILLER TIME MAN! Now or never, MMA NEEDS some MAYHEM!!! Who's with me?!

I hope he gets well. But for those who haven't seen him earlier in his career. Mayhem choked out Jake Shields who was saved by the bell. Mayhem went to the ground with Jacare Souza, one of the all time greats in BJJ. He beat Robbie Lawler who is fighting for the title, and Tim Kennedy. He had the best ever walkout entrances with school girls and crazy ass dancing. Mayhem has so much potential it is sad to see him like this.

Everyone talks about Mayhem being overhyped and 'made up for his lack of skill with his showmanship' here. For a guy who lacked skill, he has wins over Tim Kennedy (currently #6 MW), Robbie Lawler (currently #1 WW under Hendricks), and gave Jacare Souza (#4 MW) enough of a fight that he still didn't want to rematch with him years later, among others. The dude definitely didn't have his best performances in the UFC, and he seemed to fall pretty far down the slippery slope, but can we not buy into this 'you're only as good as your last fight in the UFC' nonsense that we apply arbitrarily to people? The dude was extremely good before he started having a mental breakdown. I don't know what's up with him now. I'd like to see him get better, and if possible, come back and fight the way he used to. MMA and the tunnel of apathy needs more people who can put on a show.

He hasn't won a fight in 4 years and hasn't fought in 2. His record is 28-9-1, so that's not the whole story, but it's a factor. Ring rust may be an issue and fighters are constantly evolving, as is the sport.

A pioneer might of been the wrong word, but he still did do a lot to help advance the sport, when the sport was still very much a cult, underground market. The word "Pioneer" for me is reserved for guys like Rickson and Royce Gracie, Ken and Frank Shamrock, Bas Ruttan, Pat Miletich, Dan Severn and Tank Abbott. Mayhem is more in the group after the Pioneers, a group with GSP, Matt Huges, BJ Penn, Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell, Mark Coleman, Tito, Wanderlei and Rampage. These group of guys finished what the pioneers started and really helped launch MMA into the National and International markets.

mark coleman is a pioneer he started ground and pound. your list is off by way. Tank abbott pioneered nothing. people like him are the 1's who hold the sport back. example: going to bars and starting fights because you think you can fight. I could go on and on. you really just don't know what your sayin but its alright.

I'm a fan of Mayhem as a person and respect him for his insane fights that he had in Japan. Mayhem's mind runs deep. It becomes his worst enemy. I'm the same way and it sucks. I'd love to see him have success in a comeback but it's hard to support him because his body is too beat up already. He started fighting at a very young age, and he still has a long time on this earth; That is if he can get that mind/thinking under control. Otherwise I worry for the guy.

Miller was arrested on charges of domestic violence on August 11, 2013 and released on bail on August 12. [25] On August 22, 2013 he was arrested again on a new charge of domestic abuse.[26] In court on August 26 the two charges were combined into one case with two felony counts of "corporal injury of spouse" and details of the complaint, including kicking, choking, and urinating on his alleged victim, were released. Miller plead "Not Guilty" and his bail was reset at $100,000.[27] On October 9 Miller was arrested and on October 10 booked for a misdemeanor Contempt of Court charge for violating a "Stay Away order.

Hell yes. I would love to see Mayhem back in MMA, back in the UFC. He needs to boost his cardio and striking skills, then he will be a beast. He is ALWAYS entertaining. When he gets back on his feet, maybe he can host like Chael Sonnen. I hope he makes nice nice with Dana White after he proves himself in the octagon a few times. If fighting fails, he DEFINITELY has a movie career waiting.

Mr Miller is a decent fighter . He also has a great personality. He will never be a champion though because he does not have the speed and power to become one. he has the heart and skill, but reality is one also needs the physicality.. He should train others if he wishes to stay in the sport, or try commentating, or acting ,Lots of options for this guy.

I think the Jacare fight broke him, if you watch the documentary leading up to it then the actual fight he put everything he had into it. Actually trained very hard. After the fight he looked mentally broken.

I think it's unfair to blame everything on his personality, i think it's more than that. I think it's either a mix of serious psychological issues such as schizophrenia or drugs. Or both. He really needs help. His trainers need to help him, he's not right. This isn't an act. He is mentally not there anymore. Look at the Mayhem interviews from years ago compared to now, his mannerisms are different, he's twitchy. It reminds me of guys who have PTSD.

Watch out guys we got badasses commenting hehehehe, but everyone's free to their opinions if you wanna say something then say it whether its good or bad. I find that Miller is really trying to get his act back together and if he starts focusing back on mma and is around good people then he will be a better person mentally.

He wants Nick Diaz to acknowledge him to make him relevant. I feel bad for the guy. I mean who hasnt messed up in their life. The problem is he is dillusional. He was not a pioneer in this sport. He came along after it was established more or less. he came in as a mid level fighter and had some crazy antics as a marketing scheme. It worked for awhile till he actually started to believe in the hype. This humility is hard to watch because what he lacked in ability he made up for in showmanship. Without his entrances and smack talk he was just another low to mid tier fighter. He decided to believe in his own hype and neglected to train for cardio at least. That was very disrespectful to everyone who paid to watch it. Good luck anyway.

We'll see. He's proven he's had the potential in the past when he was in Strike Force but his time in the UFC was absolutely worthless. Would definitely be cool to see him become a better individual in and outside of fighting. Hopefully he's finally gotten his shit together. Otherwise, stand by for epic melt down part 2.

meh. Diaz isn't terrible, but the only reason he got a title shot was because they thought it would sell some ppv's. His UFC record is 6-6. He was very sheltered in strikeforce, average wrestlers will beat him more often than not. I would favor Diaz over miller, but it's not like he's calling out a top tier welterweight.

Have you seen Mayhem's fights? I wanted him to knock Bisping out. But it was an embarrassing display of piss poor MMA by Miller. Plus Cheal is like in the top 10 in the UFC, Mayhem can't even get into the UFC Vs Uriad Hall would makes a tiny bit more sense, if the UFC ever did want to cash in. And still It'd be a walk over and probably an even worst beat down given Uriah style.

yup not sure when chael was 24 at the time so at least 12 yrs ago. both fighters as well as the sport were still developing at the time. I think if they fought today itd be a different fight. Mayhem would just have to get his head right and chael would just have to get his steroid regimen right:) I'd watch
