Trivia fact: it's a distorted version of the line in the first Friday the 13th film when Pamela says "kill her, mommy" in Jason's voice. So the sound is the part of the syllable of kill, resembling "ki", and the first syllable of mommy, with a soft "o" to make it sound like "ma". Hence it's "ki ki ki, ma ma ma"

Going by the fan revival of the asymmetric game getting shut down before it could relaunch, I don't think things are quite as clear on who can use the F13/Jason IP. Hell, that lawsuit even killed F13 Killer Puzzle and all it did was exist as an IP themed spinoff of Slayaway Camp.

They need to do a monsterpalooza around Halloween. Imagine Ghost Face, Freddy, Predator, Alien, Pin Head and costumes like cenobite Rick, Pickle Rick Stripe as the Lady Gremlin and add Scooby to the game.

Haven’t seen people giving this many suggestions, for character additions in a game, since Smash.

So this is what the Jason universe is doing. Can’t wait to see Jason more in the future.

Yeah the lawsuit was settled a bit ago. Basically the original writer Victor Miller owns everything from the first movie, so young Jason, Pamela Voorhes, etc, and the director of the original film/producer of the rest of the series Sean S Cunningham now owns everything after that, so adult killer Jason, the hockey mask, etc.

Shame the only updates the game had was just cosmetic skins and not a single new map like the spaceship one they teased a lot of before. The people who made the lawsuit against it really didn’t like fun

There were a bunch of leaks involving LotR characters, but between the leaks and the game's original "launch" (which I still say they retconned into being a beta) there was an IP dispute that Warner Bros ended up losing. All of the leaked ensemble pictures ended up appearing in the full game, but with the LotR characters conspicuously absent.

He was in the initial leak. I’m guessing rights issues with Middle Earth Enterprises are preventing Lord of the Rings content from appearing currently

Hopefully things speed up in this game. It does have polish in some parts, but others still need tweaking. Also doesn’t help that Ed Boon keeps talking about this game. And until further notice, Jason is about as close to seeing MK representation in this game until they decide to send in the ninjas.

I think at this point, a MK character is a matter of "when" and not "if". After all, wouldn't be the first time a MK character got toned down and still worked. They've done it with Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, and Liu Kang with no issue.

@@coloradoblue6929 That and if you can have Game of Thrones, Jason, and Rick and Morty in the game and not push things to a violent extreme in a game with Bugs Bunny, Steven Universe, and Shaggy, that should be a strong enough indicator that it should indeed be plausible to make it happen. Going to be fun to see when it does happen, but from what "leaks" are out in the open, that likely won't be anytime soon (unless if there are no voice lines for them yet. But the ones I have heard, well they are certainly some interesting choices for sure).

Why can’t we see damage and knockouts after the game ends anymore?

I was playing Jason earlier today, and I really like his gameplay. I think I still prefer Bugs and Superman as my mains, but Jason might be a pretty solid third
