I think cody is fighting purely for pain. I think he's a total pain freak. It's gonna be another villa situation. He knows he's gonna lose the fight and basically be a punching bag but some people just love fighting. It's not about winning or losing for him.

Pin Point accuracy from boots. Hitting the pool noodles with bare fist like that is way more difficult than mitts because it's smaller target to hit than hitting mitts with gloves.
