Sean McVay needlessly threw Jared Goff under the bus, and it seemed like McVay not only wanted to get rid of Goff but to humiliate Jared as well. I thought it was pathetic at the time and I wrote it ad nauseum. But to me this is absolute poetic justice for Jared to not only oust McVay from the playoffs but to take out Stafford as well. The Rams absolutely had it coming.

Vikes fan here; I’ve always had mad respect for Stafford and was happy for his success. But I’m far happier to see the Lions becoming a good team after decades of futility. But I didn’t know McVey got petty about it. It was an amazing trade, I can’t remember any other starting QB trade where each had more success.

No he didn't, he made the right decision. At the time, Goff wasn't able to make the big clutch plays to win a SB. I remember the game against the Bucs where we were up 13 & in 3 possessions, it went int for td, fumble on their 20, & another int, they scored 17 points in less than a quarter. Goff went 3-13 first year with y'all then 9-8. It was only after all the first round picks combined with the Rams trade picks, where u able to assemble this perfect team for him to thrive. The picks u got from us lead to u drafting: Josh Paschal, Jameis Williams, Jahmyr Gibbs, Ifeatu Melifonwu & Sam LaPorta. I'll say he's a lot better & matured into an elite QB, but having really good players surrounding u a huge help, if stafford stayed u wouldn't have gotten any of those guys & been stuck where y'all were. I think the trade worked out for both teams. Plus it isn't revenge until Goff gets that SB, til then he's just a great game manager.

The second he left us, by his own choice, he became the enemy on field. I would have rather watched Green Bay win the Superbowl that year so speak for yourself with that we all wanted him to win crap. I wouldn't have booed his kids but if it happened so what? I'm sure they'll survive.

You want atmosphere, look at the men in the crowd in tears after the game. I am in my 50s. This was my second time seeing the Lions win a playoff game. Before that win, my deceased parents hadn't met each other yet. It might be silly, but yeah, that meant a lot.

Miles being a former Rams employee and pointing out that the game was super competitive between two high level teams is a complement to him being a very fair minded journalist. He could have easily gone to the questionable non-PI at the end of the game (like other lazy shows have done *cough cough* PTI). Happy him and Peter enjoyed the game. It was easily the best game of the weekend, and I'm excited to see my Lions moving on for the first time in my life.

Or the false start call on the Lions, when LA was clearly offsides, with a minute left in the first half. Lions had three timeouts left. The ref in the booth pointed out to Collinsworth and Torico the call was terrible. Lions probably score on that drive.

Jason I believe the score was 21 to 6. Lions were driving for a touchdown and that horrible fall start penalty when the Rams lineman clearly jumped. Let's talk about that call too!so it evens out otherwise the lions would've went up 28 to 6.

Heres the deal Stafford playing in Detroit against teams above .500 is 9-71, thats why i knew the Lions had a 90% chance to win. Stafford isnt too good against good teams, but throws a pretty ball. As for the superbowl- watch what Stafford did in the championship game- threw a ball right to Tart when the game was on the line- he dropped it. The Rams dont have that superbowl bought team anymore to help stafford out- Ramsey, Von Miller, Odell all gone. Good Luck

I like Peter King. But I can’t believe he would be looking at his phone while Miles is responding to what he said. Unless that was an emergency there is absolutely no reason for him to be doing that. How rude! It’s like he is telling Miles, I really am not that invested in what your opinion might be. I can imagine how difficult it was for Miles to keep up his enthusiasm when he was talking, looking at the screen and seeing Peter wasn’t paying attention. And then someone comes into the room and he even turns to smile at them and acknowledge him. Pretty surprised, especially since Peter in his Monday column seems to often bemoan what has happened to society.
