(Turn on KZread subtitles for English subtitles)
"Umi Yukaba" (海行かば) is a Japanese song whose lyrics are based on a chōka poem by Ōtomo no Yakamochi in the Man'yōshū (poem 4094), an eighth century anthology of Japanese poetry, set to music by Kiyoshi Nobutoki.
"Umi Yukaba" later became popular among the military, especially with the Imperial Japanese Navy. As set to music in 1937 by Kiyoshi Nobutoki (信時 潔, Nobutoki Kiyoshi) it became popular during and also after World War II. After Japan surrendered in 1945, "Umi Yukaba" and other gunka were banned by the Allied occupation forces. With the ending of the occupation, the song has now been widely played across military circles in Japan, including performances by the Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force.
Umi Yukaba has sometimes been considered as the second national anthem of Japan. In this video, the second part of the song pays tribute to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who was tragically assassinated this week. May he rest in peace.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Former PM Shinzo Abe, you're a trustworthy person and leader for your country, your memories will never be forgotten!🇵🇭🇯🇵
Farewell PM Abe😭 I still remember in 6th grade when I first saw him from the television when he visited Phillipines 🇵🇭 and eventually inspired me to be like him But that time I asked, "What's a Prime Minister?" we didn't have a Prime Minister since 1986 so I did alot of research this recent days I studied Parliamentary System and eventually loved it. Now I'm a student of Political Science and one of the advocates for Constitutional Reforms It wasn't easy as there are many of my people doesn't understand yet but it's worth it❤️

@@_____._____._____._____ I dislike the socialism. It is for the lazy and stupid people. In the history of Japan I don't know any socialist samurai. Japan was an empire for centuries. So is normal for his prime minister to have a far right vision in politics. And in the modern history of Japan there were prime ministers that had by far a more right vision than Shinzo Abe.

I as a german showed my grandmother, who was born 1926. she cant speak a word japanese, but i translated it to her. She said to me, she loves the vibe. this is something she never heard often. She didnt need to understand to know what this song was about. I am glad to have this memory with my beloved grandmother. this song is double special to me, because i love japan, my beloved Country. its btw not an Patriotic Song, its the 2nd national anthem of japan back in imperial times!

If you look up you can see neo nazi Abe support WW2 human experiments and massacre by japanese You can even see picture of Abe posing with a plane with 731 written on it. Unit 731 was Japanese human experimentation unit and a concentration camp, an Asian equivalent of Auschwitz. He did it just to mock and insult other Asian countries that were killed in it. If you can imagine Merkel with a plane written with auschwitz on it, support research of Josef Mengele, and talk anti Semitic rhetoric its pretty much the same thing The picture is not hard to find, just search Abe 731. I'm rly glad some one finally managed to take out Abe, just sad it didn't happen sooner
