Paul Akers find the perfect example to explain poka-yoke: any mechanism in any process that helps an equipment operator avoid (yokeru) mistakes (poka). Its purpose is to eliminate product defects by preventing, correcting, or drawing attention to human errors as they occur.

    That's really smart! When I was living in the UK it used to happen quite often, Lorries (Trucks) hitting the railroad bridges and the train traffic stopped for hours if not days! 🙌 Poka Yoke!!

    I wish they did that in U.S.A.
