I just finished my CC reread today. Why is that ending so good!! I was out on a run and I guess all that drama made me quite a bit faster than normal 😆

Happy 2024! I don’t think it’s a need to read ACOTAR first. The link between the series is right at the end of CC2 so you are completely fine to read CC1 without it and I’d argue CC2 as well. If you want to read ACOTAR then that’s great but if that series doesn’t interest you then I’d say just go for it with CC. Although I do suspect it will be necessary for CC3

I don't think I have actually ever heard what Crescent City is about. I really appreciate how you actually talk about what the books are about. It definitely makes me more interested in reading the books/authors that are hyped. I hope your reads are going well. Happy New Year.

Thank you! I find it's so much easier with books I've read and I do get a little frustrated with myself in editing sometimes when I realise that I've not talked about a plot at all.

wishing you a joyous and very happy new year with many favorite reads, abby! i had initially planned to read the crescent city books in time for the release of book 3 and reread godkiller in time for book 2, but i’m currently reading divine rivals and have a feeling that i will need to read ruthless vows directly after. absolutely loving divine rivals so far. have a lovely day and safe travels throughout january! 💜

I've just started Faebound. I think it makes sense to start with the final strife as it is going to be a completed series this year

Faebound sounds so interesting! I'm also rereading the CC books this month in preparation for the 3rd

I decided to be crazy and reread all of the SJM books since the implications of the ending, I’m halfway through Queen of Shadows and glad I impulsively decided to be crazy, it’s been over 5 years and I’ve forgotten so much

Happy New Year Abby, I've been listening to crescent city on audible too! I've never read any Brandon Sanderson and I suppose I should start. I got Faebound from fairyloot and can't wait to read it. The atlas six was good. I have way too many books to read.😊
