I can say its at least nice to see him lose the title without enduring a lot of injury. I worried one of the old fellas was gonna get hurt bad and I just didn't want to see that with these two. Glover seems healthy enough to fight pretty quickly and Jan should be ok too.

If I wanted anybody to be the one to beat Jan I’m glad it was glover and I think Jan would agree. Happy for glover but Jan will be back. Not everybody’s body holds up like glovers but we could be seeing the same situation with Jan, who knows he’s probably got a few years left in him. Jan will be back.

I agree. What I don't like is when they interview fighters who just got KO'ed. After a KO, in my opinion, it's totally fine for the former champion to leave the Octagon and go get checked etc. Sadly, the UFC has started to push for interviewing KO'ed fighters when they need to pad the runtime during PPV. But in this case, it was absolutely the right way to do it. Also, I would have totally understood if Jan didn't want to give an interview after losing.

​@@Crusder1000 idk for sure what he means, but imo he prob referring to all the head/neck cranks glover was doing and he was also using his giant head, shoving it into Jan's chin/neck when he wasn't cranking the head. If you watch the fight, it looked like between those 2 things Jan was having trouble being able to even find time to breath in oxygen when he was on bottom (so most of the fight). Also i just remembered glover shoving his forearms into Jan's neck a lot too from top position. Jan got smothered tbh.

This man has earned 100% respect level time and time again. It’s permanent Jan is the man.

When is the last time someone who lost the title came in for the interview. The guy was in the octagon, looked like he was crying in a corner and being consoled by his fiance, probably the worst feeling he's had in a long time, and still is a consummate professional and comes out and does media obligations. He and Glover are both model individuals.

Jan is such a good guy that it was sad to see this. Hope he wins his next fight!!!

I still cant belive that he lost Like it was first time in 4 or 5 fights when he wasnt underdog and he lose

he was defending the takedowns really well at the start of round 2 and he Teixeira was pressuring him really hard and he was against the cage waiting to defend another takedown and Teixeira landed a massive Left Hook, things can change that quickly in this game specially at LHW. Overall Teixeira's style counter's Jan's style really well and he hits hard and Wrestles really well so you have to worry about all kinds of things which was hard for Jan

Oh yea ontop of that I know Jan is good on the ground but when’s the last time Jan had to uses his ground game.. you can tell he was more then outclassed on the ground he was real rusty, but I was telling people glover can box and when he landed that huge hook it was shocking as Jan was winning the striking and glover the grappling. All in all glover was just too well rounded for Jan

Imagine Glover BEATING Jiri and then retire...that would be legendary... I hope this isn't the end for Jan.

@@sladzik Co on wyprawia z tym alkoholem bez przerwy rozdaje przeciwnikom przed walka. Po przegranej walce tez musi byc na zdjęciu jakieś piwo.. Co to wogóle było.. Tak naprawde to bylo wielkie wstyd to co on pokazał al lepiej mówiąc czego nie pokazał. Ja rozumiem że można przegrać, ale nigdy w taki sposób przeciwko 42 letniego glovera.

Jaki wstyd?. Ok ,jeśli chodzi o tą walkę trochę dał ciała. Kilka błędów, które go kosztowały utratę pasa. Glover to świetny zawodnik. Co z tego, że ma 42 jest w gazie. Całe życie trenował, żeby zostać tak jak Janek mistrzem UFC swojej kategorii wagowej. Nie zapominajmy o osiągnięciach Janka. Stracił pas,ale jest Mistrzem UFC. Tego mu nikt nie zabierze. Sam na siebie jest strasznie wkurwiony. Powiedział, że czuję się jak g. Bo wiedzial ,że zawinił,ale wstydu nie ma . Wstyd to byłby jakby go Najman pobił

@@oskarm-o6622 Bruh he's fought killers on the ground like Nemkov and was fine. Reyes took him down a split second and people pretend as though that means Jiri can just be taken down at will. It's nonsense. People also forget that Reyes stuffed and reversed numerous takedowns from Jon Jones. And he still got dominated on the ground against Jiri.

He looked like he didn’t try at all. He looked drained or stressed out from something in his personal life. Hope he pulls through. Both great fighters

Kinda bummed Jan lost, he really grew on me and really impressed me with the Adesanya performance. Great dude, hope he bounces back.

And the wins are more definitive now too. Too much steroid bullshit with Jon Jones. Won't ever know if he was able to fight or if he was just a juicing to win.

@@pcostyle11 I had an accumulator going from weeks ago that included Jan as the final fight to win over a oner 😂 it’s always the way!

What a breath of fresh air this man is. Such a stand up guy, even in defeat. A lot of competitors could learn from this. Respect to Jan, and I have no doubt he'll be back. On the flip side, Glover is a great example of a warrior as well. Congrats to him!

Much respect to both these gentlemen.

I guess Jan did a mistake he respected Glover too much in his heart and mind ( Genuinely Jan's a great guy at heart) which cost him the match big time. He wasn't himself and didn't press the aggression by his striking and combinations because obviously he respected Glover too much that kind of kills the mentality.

Jan is humble in defeat. What a geat fellow!

This is what a genuine class act looks like. He even manages to smile and his manners are impeccable.

Gotta love and respect Jan, he is a great dude.

That confidence was lacking even when he stepped into the octagon. Wish you well Jan & am sure you will come back strong.

Both guys are great . Congrats to Glover 42 wow and a such a great performance against Santos and now against Jan. Jan is definitely coming back . I Can't wait for rematch.

It was the only fight of this night I could see an upset.But yet I'm surprised, he gave his back so easy.

Jan is my favourite fighter. Savage and humble and come across like the friend you can count on
