Avs are just a very good team. Dallas should learn that by now. That 3rd round last 4 seconds goal by Lehkonen on Drai and Bouch will leave a permanent scar in my brain. If you cant go past the Avs, you havent earned the Finals. Avs are the standard now.

The Stars didnt step on their necks when they were up 3-0. Cant take the foot off the gas against Colorado Dallas learned that tonight.

Avs fan here but I kinda like the Dallas coach’s approach here. Acknowledged the effort but also that the Stars leaders need to produce some points.

It has nothing to do with the Avs, and has everything to do with Dallas’ inconsistency. Yes they’re a 1 seed, and division champ. But look at their record all season. Up, and down, back and forth. They didn’t have a decent winning streak until almost the end of the regular season. I’m not saying they’re not a good team. I’m a Stars lifer. That’s why I get to speak on it. We get ahead and like “we got em”. Then kinda expect the other team to just give up. Not happening in the playoffs. Look at the one game Colorado beat us in the regular season. It was a comeback win just like this one. Can’t take your foot off the gas when you have them down like that. You got three. Cool. Now get three more. You can not stop. Pedal to the metal 100mph 100% of the time. We can turn this thing around. We got punched I. The mouth. Now get your ass up and fight harder and don’t stop til they’re knocked the F out! Let’s go Stars!

Dallas did make a mistake in taking the pressure off up three. But it’s as much about Colorado not throwing in the towel down three.

How about hitting the bloody net a couple times gese.. so many missed chances

Roope had a chance, a great chance. Didn’t take the shot, lost the puck then they go down and score. He’s over thinking it because he hasn’t gotten on the score sheet but once. I get it, but just put the puck on net. No such thing as a bad shot. At least attempt!

The Avs looked fresher quicker, Hard to keep petal full throttle with gas right after the 7 game round one. Think of winning a big tournament and having to get back up and do it again. .. Coach Nailed, Go Stars! Battlers

Yeah well they caught up to him pretty quickly on that break then he coughs it up and they end up scoring.. is he hurt or something because he's been pissing me off all playoffs and constantly misses the net !!! Constantly. 🤬

Question: why do we just dump it down and give them puck when we have line change? Instead of just playing back to our own end to keep possession? Bugs the crap out of me! Just back up a little til the guys come off the bench then try again? Instead of just saying “here you go”…🤷🏼‍♂️

In my opinion they need mason marchment back. Hes big and not affraid to hit. nils lundkvist should be benched for the rest of the playoffs. Jani hakanpaa needs to get healthy real quick. As far as hintz goes he seems like he is injured cause he doesn't have the burst of speed he usually plays with and its affecting his shooting. Colorado doesnt look as good as vegas so Dallas should win this in 7 games.
