JAMES WEBB SPACE TELESCOPE'S STUNNING OUTER SPACE IMAGES

Ғылым және технология

The most fascinating images from the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) so far: NGC 346 - a young open cluster of stars. The Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex, the closest star-forming region to Earth. Herbig-Haro 211, the outflow of a young star. ZW II 96 - a system of merging galaxies. A forming protostar L1527. Messier 57 (The Ring Nebula). The Southern Ring Nebula (NGC 3132). The spiral galaxies NGC 1566 and NGC 1672, The Phantom Galaxy. Star Cluster IC 348. The Tarantula Nebula. Stephan's Quintet - a visual grouping of five galaxies. Cassiopeia A (Cas A) - a supernova remnant. The “Cosmic Cliffs” in the Carina Nebula. And the Spiral Galaxy called: LEDA 2046648.
The JWST is a space telescope designed to conduct infrared astronomy and was launched on 25 December 2021. In January 2022 it arrived at its destination, about 1.5 million kilometers from Earth.
