    That last nebula looks like the image of the Eagle nebula's starforming regions i remember looking at in time magazine in a hospital a long time ago. It reminded me of how much i loved astronomy when i was years younger and led to a degree in physics. Also that hubble nebula image looks like a monster with sunglasses poking up.

    @@7-i22daksheshrao8 Put it this way if light isn’t instantaneous (like we presume) then it travels at a speed (roughly) 300million metres per second - if you are far enough away the light emitted by an object will take X amount of time to reach your eyes meaning if an object billions of years away emits light it takes said light (rays/photons) billions of years to reach you. Think of the photon like a point, it takes time for that point to reach you. on earth it’s unnoticeable considering it can travel around the earth 7ish times in 1 second at the equator now place a star billions of light years away and it takes billions of years for the point (photon) to reach your retinas so it’s as if we were seeing the star as it was billions of years ago some stars in the sky aren’t actually there anymore if you could teleport you would see they aren’t there. It’s crazy to imagine but we see into their past.

Tomorrow there is a chance to get more advance to JSWT. So every invention is great and every service is noble.

    Surfaces would be cool, but these dots are dots we weren’t even able to see. I don’t think you realize the scale but it’s millions and billions of light years way. Right now we’re looking further into the past then we have ever looked. Maybe we can see more origins of the universe with the dots! These pictures will help us understand the dots, universe, and the beginning of everything better than we have ever done. Plus these are ones that NASA has released to the public. And James over here, does more than just look at dots. Also you can look at dots but you can’t see them in such great detail. I’m looking forward to whatever else James does!

    Water on other planets means life doesn't it?

  • @CreamerMusic

    @CreamerMusic

    10 ай бұрын

    All we know for sure is that water is a crucial nutrient for most life on earth, given the atmospheric and other conditions present here. All we know is that life possibly originated in water here. Life most certainly is capable is living in water, at least on earth, and that’s only some water, sometimes, for some life.. and life can also gain the ability to leave the water and live on land, or vice versa. Whether life as we know it originated on earth or came here on some sort of meteorite, without water, life would definitely struggle to exist in the same capacity as it has for so long on earth. However, it’s water, when combined with other specific conditions that are present here on earth that allow this to happen. It’s unclear whether water plays the same role in life, or whether it’s completely indicative of life, on other planets with water or other planets with similar conditions to earth. There was likely water on earth before life was here, so the presence of water doesn’t always mean there’s life.

    @@CreamerMusicthank you for that. I was drinking from my water bottle the other day and thought maybe this is the same water that was in an aliens ocean. Since water cannot be made or destroyed then this means it all came from another world yes or no. I dont think it's too farfetched to think this being the universe is billions of years old. Anyways I really do think where there is water either there is life or the potential for life. And different gravity and atmospheric conditions can evolve totally different life forms then what we look like.
