Life Long Friends ! How Cool ! Carole King was very shy when younger and James coaxed her onto the stage. The world was better for that I'm sure.

I think you can tell how much Carole loves James.

A beautiful song by James Taylor & Carol King. They sing so well together. James Taylor's music is so easy to listen to.

This such a beautiful, timeless wondetfully simple song, and of all the great artists JT has paired with over the years to sing this with him, Carole is my favorite.

I was at this show. What a wonderful song to end the tour with. It was a shame it had to end, but they say "all good things got to come to an end" I agree with the person who posted this. With a tear in my eyes, too am so thankful to have witnessed their talent.

This is the very first song of JT I heard as a 17 year old kid , on my way to boot camp at fort Ord in 1971. I've loved his music ever since , always will

We often say 'Greats' when describing artists but these two were true 'Greats" and always will be... Thankyou both so much for giving me your beautiful music to listen too which has made my life so much better... Bless you both...

Thank you for sharing this. I saw them in Toronto back in May--my sister and I were guests of James Taylor and got to sit in the Pod, inches away from the stage. I was blown away by the sheer talent and rapport of these beloved legends. Cried buckets when they did Close Your Eyes.

I see them years ago in england .a 15 year old lad.i can see them still.like it was yesterday.blew me away.i am 61 now.they still move me .

So unbelievably beautiful and heartfelt. This is an amazing performance by two of the most talented singer/songwriters ever. I want to cry just watching the video.

Those two superb music souls were fused, if not in love as may be otherwise known. One only has to look at their deepest feelings, clearly on the surface, both ,and all who view their bonding , would shed a tear.

There can be such a bond created with music, and it carries over into eternity...It is truly something from the soul, I believe this, and these two are a great example of it. What a great concert, so happy they got together to do it. Perfect song for a final song.

I don’t believe that they weren’t lovers. Both of them looked so comfortable with each other, way more than when he sang this song with his then-wife Carly Simon. And while that duet had the best vocals, this one had more passion (touching and eye contact) and an easy nuance that comes from a deep intimacy and knowledge of each other at some truly happy point in their lives.

This is wonderful, but much as I admire Carole King, I have to admit that I prefer James and Carly Simon's version of this song. I think Carly was in much better harmony with James than Carole
