Just realised that! At least the Mini closed the gap a little with this time of 59.73, bringing the difference to .05 of a second difference.

@@adamdickinson2894 the grand tour is great. The specials are better than when on top gear, the cars are unbelievable and the humour is still typical for them. What I preferred on the old top gear, it was the British feel ( the grand tour is too international) , the top gear track, the stig and the news segments were just better.

@@oldskoolraver1079 fair enough if you do think that. To me watching the GT, it just doesn't feel the same. You can see 95% of the jokes coming a mile off and it just doesn't feel original at all. Idk whether that's because they did more improv on the BBC or they scripted it better, but on the GT then May or Hammond will just say something clearly to tee up Jeremy and it's painful. Hammond's character seems to have completely changed to one that's just angry all the time, and it's become more of Jeremy Clarkson + two sidekicks than the Clarkson May Hammond trio you had on TG. Clarkson always seems to get them back in the end or find some way to win the challenge when that kinda stuff was much more evenly divided on TG. And they do segments or rant about topics they'd already covered on top gear, or things they hadn't done on TG because they knew they wouldn't work (fire engines are a good example).

@@adamdickinson2894 True, you can notice they exaggerate their characters where in the old top gear it felt more natural. I also think they are running out of fresh ideas as most things they have already done before. Just be happy we have over 22 seasons of the old top gear and also lots of grand tour content and still new content to come. Most successful series see only have a couple of seasons, if not just one.

That is the most beautiful sound that a rally made in a long time.

I enjoyed this race more than the last one. A Mini rally car, Britain's best hope in rallying, and the fact that skeleton bobsleighing to me looks more spectacular than the team bobsleigh :o

Don't care for a car or May, because SHE IS GORGEOUS and I see only her!
