I want James Marsden to come in, and I want him to pop off and drop a lot of fools. Even though the movie sucked I loved how dangerous snd strong they made his powers look in the Xmen Origins Wolverine movie.

I mean…….cyclops popping up is in line with the “ we can’t afford all the X-men joke”. Now that he’s apart of the MCU “we can afford more X-men now” is something to think about.

Most of the skits on stage at the Oscars are either planned out, or the actors are aware of what's going to happen beforehand

After seeing the pics fans are doing of Marsden as cyclops, if he is in deadpool and wolverine he needs to be in the blue outfit with the yellow strap, the Jim Lee look I believe.

I've stopped believing that the haters were 'the original fans' since I read message to Tom Morello from 'Rage Against the Machine' that 'they used to like him before he became political. Brother, you clearly haven't heard a single one of his songs in that case.

It depends on how they handle this new characterization of Morph. It’s obviously part of his powers to change genders, but if the message is anybody can magically change genders, even regular humans, then that’s clearly different than what they did before.

My niece and younger brothers use Discord to watch stuff. They all have drivers licenses. Always use KZread, various anime sites and streaming services. But we’re a late night group. So it works for them.

We still use watch parties but we live a couple hours from great friends that we all just about every 2 weeks watch a movie together

I definitely agree with robs point the xmen represent anyone whos ever felt alienated but when you clearly define the specific real world parallels your limiting and shrinking the relatabilty factor for everyone disneys zootopia is a great example of how to do those themes through subtext so that way you get the message through to the audience without hitting them over the head with it

Um Samuel L. Jackson made a cameo as Nick Fury in Agents of Shield. Also, network television is not the same as a streaming platform that owns the ip & can control the direction that the ip is going. Yes, ABC is owned by Disney, but there was infighting @ Marvel at the time. Although I think you’re right, Spider-Man won’t appear in Daredevil only because Sony & Marvel will have a hard time coming to an agreement.

I agree with the original creators morph is definitely non binary but I im pretty sure it wasn't a thing 30 years ago so I doubt they "had that on their minds" when he was made.

Non binary was around. It just wasn't acknowledged or made the political thing it is now. And the thing is. Things needed updated to current context. And I see why things are they way they are. It's actually putting a name to a thing that was never spoke about because these people were scared to talk about it.

John, saying "I just don't like anime" would be similar to someone else saying "I just don't like American movies", writing off any individual merits any specific title can have. Ninja Kamui would've been an easy watch for any American that's entertained with action movies.

Not liking something is fine. Especially when it's content. He just doesn't like anime. Why is that a problem? There are probably people who don't lie American films for the style or whatever, that's fine too. I like anime but respect people who don't. It's just not in their taste. i don't like musical and you would never convince me to watch one.

Perfect chance to mention the movie Sunshine, but again it gets overlooked as always 😢

I think he should be done with superhero films (also what I think he will feel) and instead do other films in the action genre, like Highlander or whatever.

John, Morph was from the comics. He was killed in the the 70's though I think. The cartoon pretty much follows that but in a different way. This iteration seems to be based on the Exiles comic version of morph-in fact he looks exactly the same so I'd go as far as to say he's the source for this version. So a little disingenuous to say the animated team created him. Personally I have no issues with preferences and genders, lol, especially lol it fits the character.

I'm all about diversity and representation, but Morph would be gender fluid, not non binary. Just another empty attempt by a big corporation who's missing the point.

Does anyone think Elliot Page will cameo as a male variant of Kitty Pryde?

Batman never had "white privilege" only "rich privilege". Now you're creating nonsense to make a point to not change the character's skin tone. If it a core American character like Batman or Superman they are similar to a brand. If people like the taste you leave it alone. Create new characters.

@@mistercard3599 There have been black millionaires in America since the late 1800's. It's not a sound argument. Unless you're saying there have never been black millionaires? I'm not saying I want a black Bruce Wayne because I don't, but his argument is not a good one. I think if you want more diversity just create new characters and leave the older ones alone. It's that simple. If customers like the taste of a of a product it's probably best to leave the taste alone. Make a new beverage.

I wasn't telling you that so I could get a history lesson, just that it was possible for a black man to be in the same money situation. It's a story about a guy who dresses like a bat to fight crime in a city and survives every encounter he gets into for decades. Certain liberties are taken to tell that kind of a story, correct? Him being a black billionaire shouldn't be the "Oh I don't believe that!" part of the story. You would only be making a point if you said there were zero black millionaires, which you didn't. John's argument is nonsense. He did not have white privilege, he had money privilege. That said, they need to leave characters alone. Bruce should remain white because that is how he was described since his creation 80 years ago. It's that simple. Trying to find reasons why it's okay or not to keep a character a certain color is nonsense. Then everyone can start nitpicking and coming up with even more nonsense for their favorite heroes. He was created as such and so he is. See how simple that was? Leave characters of the race in which they were created.

Bruce is a billionaire and not just a billionaire but one of the 1% of the 1%. we are talking Elon Musk Warren Buffet the Coke brother's money. there are no Black Americans in that bracket. you have to come from a long line of white privilege to have that kind of money.

I mentioned the black millionaires from the 1800's to make the point that it was possible and that is all that is necessary when telling a fictional story. Also inflation would turn those millions from the 1800's into billions, today, right? Wayne does not have Elon Musk money. The richest black man in America is worth 5 Billion, Bruce Wayne is worth around 9 billion not Elon Musk money which would be $340B. A black Bruce Wayne can be explained easy in a comic book if we're talking being rich. It's all made up. But if you look into most comic book character's biography I'm pretty sure you can make an argument for why their race should be left alone. My explanation is easy. They were created that way, leave them that way. You want diversity? Create new characters.

He says the word "viscous". I don't think it means what he thinks it means.

Please stop posting these 'leaks' and cameos that are rumored. some of us are trying to avoid them and when you put them in the title and the cover art it's impossible to avoid without unsubscribing.

If its articles coming out months before the movie then there isn't much you can do. When a movie comes out I avoid youtube but stuff is going to be posted everywhere. The important stuff will be kept covered til the release

I'd say unsubscribe. I hear you, but generally speaking the show covers things the legit trades post. That's reasonable. It's okay if you don't want that stuff. But John has addressed this many times.

Stop calling them filmmakers. They aren't projected on film or shot on film. And most today have never even shot a foot of film, ever. Call them what they are...digital moviemakers.

Excellent point. I'd add shot and finished on film. Filmmaking requires a different knowledge and skill than digital. Moviemakers is more appropriate as there are only a handful of filmmakers left. And when they retire or are gone...
