If you listened to the rest of what he says, he is commenting about the sound quality on most small video cameras. I have a supplemental shot gun mike mounted on mine. Plus I asked his permission to film and also to post this video. He had the chance to review this video before it was posted.

He was referring to the sound quality on most small video cameras. I have a supplemental mike on mine and was sitting in the front row with my camera on a tripod 2 feet away from the edge of the stage. I got his permission to film before the concert started and his permission to post this video after showing it to him first.

Uke strings are made of nylon normally, so they really really stretch, also people already make tools (for this exact practice of adding tension to the strings) and this guy just realized he could use chopsticks instead. I use drumsticks with my bass sometimes
