I like that all engines go and the CG era has caused us to defend the HIT era. It’s like the Star Wars prequels once the sequels came out

As someone who's favorite HiT era character is also Hector, that is a brilliant topic covering James' arc with the trucks and to its credit provided a better flow than what the RWS tried (but never resolved his prejudice with diesels, which could've actually taken place in the early 70s than 80s). From that very topic about James and trucks alone, I didn't even realize that before until now (well except for Hector the Horrid and James Works It Out as I do know actually sets up and pays off in the beginning and end). In a way, it also kinda reminded me of a few other character arcs too whether it's Warrior in TUGS or Mr. Yoshi and Charolette's relationship before eventually getting married in Hamtaro. As mundane as the HiT era can be, I'd gladly take it over the Nitrogen or BWBA eras because there are some unique character traits within it, including James. I agree that it is weird having Works It Out be placed in S12, but then again so does Thomas and Elizabeth in S6 and 7.

It would still be awful for its formulaic writing, character flounderasation like Skarloey & Edward, and having one guy (The narrator) voicing all of them while also trying to make them appear more lively. I think the CGI & model blending wouldn't be as bad if they had a voice cast.

Funny enough it features Thomas so the publisher would have been satisfied with the idea. 😆 I do feel bad for Christopher not being able to deliver his full potential.

Yeah, how did Hector became wise in his second appearance? You know James is the best when pairing up with another engine. He has a nag for ticking engines off 😂, talking about his splendid red paint.
