There are no words to express the pain and sorrow. This song touched my heart. I hope that you find peace in your heart and soul. The journey’s a difficult one, but you will not ever be alone. I joined the family of bereaved parents in 1984, and then lost my 20 year old daughter in 1998. On the darkest days, reach out, there are so many who are going through this grief and loss. My best friend just lost her 3 year old daughter last month after a 20 month battle with cancer. This song makes me cry every time, so sad so beautiful. The chorus really hits home, Tori is now dancing somewhere with her blond hair. Thanks for always writing lovely, emotional music!

I never thought another song would come along that could make me cry like Monsters. This is so beautifully written and performed. My wife and daughters have lost a combined 8 pregnancies. I was always the stoic supportive one. I've never cried over them until now. Now I cry for these beautiful women in my life. James Blunt can express things so powerfully and beautifully.

Three years ago today we announced a pregnancy that didn’t last. This song randomly came up on my playlist. Thank you for giving voice to that grief, the dream, the reality of a partner helping someone through that grief. It helps to continue to destigmatize these types of conversations. ❤❤❤

And to think some people say they don't make good music any longer. Seems like pain and challenges evokes the true genius in a artist. What a beautiful, beautiful magical tragic, heartfelt song. ❤

Ugh James. This is the first time I thought of you as a grief-singer-counsellor. So helpful for those who have such full hearts that need to spill over, and a musical shoulder to lean on.

James Blunt is one of the most underrated singer and song writer, this song is more moving than “Monsters”. The words tell you a story of heartbreak to write a song so personal, I have tears running down my face listening to this song. Just amazing 🌹♥️🌹

James blunt is just different..His music is not defined by chartbusters, collections, rankings etc. It's a different world, different dimension that is so far in memory, yet so close to the human soul. Just breathtaking...Monsters previously, & now this .. ❤

James can absolutely bring me to tears with his music. I had my two daughters, but the second was never supposed to be, so she was a miracle for me. I can understand this song so much, it hurts even after 45 years.

What a song. This will live for ever. She lives on.

I'm a single mom and often I'd wish i never had a child cause this isn't what i hoped for but after i almost lost her,I realised that I really loved my baby and that it's okay to be a young single mom. Life changed for the better and music like this make everything moments worth a while ❤ thank you 💞💞💞

Your song hits my heart hard. My wish always was to become a mother. But there was never a way to it. So this song is a reflection of my feelings/thoughts ...hope I find the right words to express. This song kills me! We lost our first babygirl while I was at the 6th month pregnangy in 2018. We love JB since 2008...and cause of his music I met my husband... so in a few simple words you open a world of pain... this words are so true

I am so sorry if James and his spouse went through this loss. I went through it twice, before finally having my two kids and you never quite get over this type of loss. I remember those two babies all the time, so in a way, they ARE, vs never was. My heart goes out to folks who have experienced losing a child through miscarriage, you are NOT to blame ❤ 💔 😢

That's heartbreakingly beautiful. I am too young to have lived that, but as a woman with 30 percent of chances of being infertile (thanks to endometriosis), it just makes me break into tears. James Blunt is the type of singer/songwriter that can take a song beyond its expectations and he also has a voice that you not only hear but you can feel at the same time, he can sing with raw emotion without any fault in the lyrics and her approach to modern music is also addictive with every beat. James can be described as an artist that is both original yet unique and in my opinion that is a hard thing to find in todays music industry. So if you like music that will fill your heart and mind with joy and pure bliss i recommend this singer as a must see performance!!

I cannot say how much this song was needed. To many of us who have been in that dark place. I recently lost my baby girl in March this year. She was born at 23.6 weeks. She lived for 2 weeks. Two beautiful weeks we had the opportunity to get to know her and love her. She was our last baby. As a mother still grieving, I am so happy for this beautiful song.
