When the song ended I told to my brother that with this song she would win Eurovision once again. And then the Polish commentator said exactly the same ;) Greetings from Poland.

i despise every jerk who disliked the video, c'mon people, this is a marvellous example of an artist who creates original and truly touching songs and gains inspiration from ethnic roots, I am really enchanted and I appreciate such devotion in music, Poland loves you, Jamala!!! 🇺🇦🇵🇱❤️

Honestly- Jamala is so talented I don't even... Maybe you don't know but our Polish commentator said that if Jamala performaned with this song in the Eurovision contest, she would win. And I agree. She's amazing.

She's absouletly wonderful, i never seen anything like her in the full history of ESC, i hope she comes back again...

no wonder. Ukrainian language evolved through folk singing. We even have grammar rules when you can change the word so its easier to sing it depending on surrounding words.

When I listened to this song for the first time, truth be told I didn't like it at all, but much later I realised how beautiful it was. It proved like good wine that simply gets better and better with time. Now I do think this song is doomed to become classic some day.

this song is by dakhabrakha featuring jamala originally. first time i heard it on dakhabrakha concert. dakhabrakha are probably busy touring so they are not on stage here. look up this song when they do it together

У мене є знайомий росіянин з-під Києва, який терпіти не може Джамалу. І терпіти він її не може ще з тих часів, коли вона ще не була Джамалою, а була випускницею консерваторії Сусанною Джамалдиновою і співала Glorify thy name разом з хором КПІ. Вона там справді трохи "випендрювалась", а він такий стиль категорично не сприймає. Як вона категорично не сподобалась йому тоді, так не подобається і досі. Так що навіть якщо хейтером є росіянин, зовсім не факт, що справа тут у політиці.

Не гони волну, не зная исходящих! Коллектив называется "Даха Баха" и Джамала - человек популярный, приличный и публичный, что не позволит себе пачкаться такими скандалами, как бы тебе этого хотелось. Это я к тому, что все свое получили.

+slideshow correction on verse 3. by surprising they ment girlhood. this is an anciend ukrainian folk song so some world are so old and easy to confuse with something else. and by friends they ment bridesmaids there.

I LOVE THIS SONG JAMALA... YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL... CROATIA LOVES YOU...

She won everything again :)

Jamala is always so creative with her performances and songs - hopefully everyone who was mad about her winning ESC 2016 realises why now
