Well, The real reason is that the juries are very.. Well how do i put it? Strict. In the live performance, when he walked away from the mic 2 meters away, His voice slightly cracked and that was enough for alot of the juries to take their votes away from him.

The microphones that are used on stages like this are really good at picking up what they're supposed to pick up (and at what they're not supposed to pick up). It will pick up your voice even two meters away if you're in front of it. If you're behind it even a half a meter, it will not. The volume of the singer's voice does not change linearly when he comes closer to it.

For real, I would love to hear a word from the jury about why they chose to vote for Switzerland. I liked the Swiss performance too, don't get me wrong, but considering he was against incredible singers like Slimane, I don't know how he won.

This year was more or less a 2015 dejavu. Back then Italy was absolutely freaking robbed, although their performance was probably better than any other country's since 2000. This year this guy was done so dirty. They supposedly got juries in order to balance voting for one's neighbours. But in reality all they are doing is pushing agendas. No wonder eurovision turned from a song contest to a circus contest.

Le Français est la plus belle langue du monde, mais très dure surtout pour les étrangers et même pour les Français de maintenant, le monde oublie qu'il n'y a pas si longtemps c'était la langue diplomatique et que même au Royaume-Uni c'était la langue officielle de la Cour. i get where you're coming from, but i think this contest was always about the song PLUS the show. And regardless, this dude went really really high in ratings and Lena for example won with a quite minimalistic show aswell.

This singer deserves recognition beyond Eurovision, as his voice is so powerful it seems to be heard all over the world!

He should have won. His vocals are breathtaking. I seriously got goosebumps. He didn’t humiliate himself, he didn’t have to be naked to amaze us, he stood 2 meters away from the mic and still sounded better than the rest. Eurovision is supposed to be a singing contest, not a carnival, or a theatrical performance. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves! ❤️
