Jamahal becoming the next champ would have been something special since he was on the contender series and then straight to the top. At least he takes big chances in fights and don't leave it to the stupid judges, good man.

That “oh F*ck” from Ariel after Jamal told him his little cousin passed away in a house fire a few weeks ago was the exact same way I felt after he said that. It’s still makin my stomach turn. Rip and god bless to all the children taken away from us.

2:29 "If i can't come out and display that i'm the best in 6 weeks, then am i really him?" . Preparations has been done in the last couple years (not only the 6 weeks of cramming). Good luck to him. Lets see how he does.

Jamahal has always been a talented hardworker. His maturity in asking Smith for help is scary.... A hard worker who isn't afraid to ask for help is a brutal combination. He continues to impress in the cage and has shown crazy improvement already.

I love Glover but dude, I’m a fan of this man. His attitude is amazing. Going to be a fun fight in Brazil.

If he knocks out Glover, that’s really the only way. That would be absolutely nuts. I feel like Jiri would come back and beat him but holy crap that would be crazy for the division for Hill to win it

Idk man, jiri is a much easier match up for jamahal. He handles strikers very well but lost to a grappler. Honestly I think he beats both then loses to magomed

I think the ufc would rather have glover win the belt so they can make jiri vs glover 2. If glover wins they will wait out the injury or jiri to insure that fight happens.

Jamahal would starch Jiri. Not many will beat Jamahal standing up at LHW. Glover gotta work that wrestling, up against the cage, take down, control, sub to beat Jamahal.

Awesome interview. A lot of people give Ariel crap for asking offensive/abrasive questions, this interview shows why he is great. His job is to find the story. And yes, at times that means asking tough/awkward questions. But he does. And he pulls the story out of the fighter. There were a few times in this interview that he could have pulled back, but Ariel pushed. And in the end it really is what’s best for Jamahal Hill because now people want to know more about him and his stock rises. Great work by Ariel and great courage by Jamahal. Should be an amazing build up to and amazing fight 🙏🏻

Ariel was gaslighting Jamal making out he said it’s okay to slap a women if they slap you when he never said that , disgusting behaviour because he didn’t like Jamal calling him out on not giving him the credit he deserves

Jamahal is such a cool dude. People can say what they want, but look at the state of the LHW division. Outta the top 7 guys, 3 are injured. 3rd and 4th ranked had a shot at it and the draw honestly wasn’t a bad call. It’s gonna be hard to root for a one man over the other because it’s so hard not to like Jamahal and Glover. Same way I felt when Glover taught Jiri. LHW is all over the place, but damn are there some incredible fights going on lately. I think it’s been one of my favorite divisions in recent years and so many likable guys at the top. Best of luck to both men. This is big, this could be the first contender series champion or it could be Glover regaining the crown in what would be the twilight of most fighters careers. Aside from that, god bless Jamahal’s family. The tragedy he mentioned is so terrible. I hope his family can find some comfort. Best of luck to both men, two of the most humble guys who deserve nothing but praise.

Jiri probably isn't coming back. It's so sad what his trainers did to his shoulder. Never try to pop a shoulder back in. It was a broken clavicle and they made it unfixable.

Wow you could see the emotions on his face after he said he'll finally answer the question and theres no losing in this fight almost had tears in his eyes...very genuine raw emotion and even more real how can you not root for this guy...never trash talked,gave glover his Rose's while he still here...way the best man win...your live will forever be intertwined after this fight

I love this dude - also kudos to Ariel for always bringing emotions and the real person behind the fighter out in his interviews. That is why he’s the best and that’s not a “transaction” (sorry Paddy!). I’m now a Hill fan whereas I didn’t really know him before this interview.
