    Alex prob would of still won but that was a little messed up. Ref calls time hill eases up Alex takes 2 quick steps to close the distance steps on his foot b4 he was ready and hits him. And jiri was a early stoppage. Alex got lucky 2 straight fights by ref mess ups

  • @user-ph2cl7fi8l

    @user-ph2cl7fi8l

    Ай бұрын

    @@bauerpower83 No that's not how it happened at all... Alex simultaneously moved forward as Herb called time, It's not like Alex saw Herb call time and thought 'this is my chance' it was a simultaneous action, then Hill asked Alex if he was ok with a thumbs up as Alex took a step back, they touched gloves, Herb tells them to go, Hill takes a small step to the left, Alex matched Hills footwork by taking a small step to his right, that's when Alex aggressively started moving forward looking for the left hook, Hill then plants his feet, tries to counter Alex's forward motion with a straight left, which Alex slips then lands his left hook. Don't give me that rubbish saying Hill wasn't ready, 1st of all Hill should go read the official mma rules about fouls, the way herb handled that was 100% spot on, he did nothing wrong. 2nd. Alex was the one who absorbed an illegal strike, why should Alex be penalized with a reset, if he doesn't need or want one? 3rd. Hill gave a thumbs up, and they touched gloves, Hill was ready to go. 4th. Hill threw his punch BEFORE Alex did, more proof Hill was ready, the difference is Alex slipped Hill's punch, and landed his. 5th If you've been watching mma for more than a month you'd know this happens all the time, a fighter gets fouled, then that fouled fighter waives off the ref and they continue the action immediately, just like Alex did. 6th. As Hill likes to say but still makes excuses anyway: "protect yourself at all times" As for Jiri.. I agree it was early, but Jiri did get dropped twice within the span of 10 seconds, then Alex took the full mount position when Goddard stopped it. I think the stoppage was early too, but as Alex just proved, his ground and pound is deadly, he most likely would've ko'd Jiri from full mount. Goddard is trash, he always stops fights early.

    Unified rules of MMA, Section 15, Subsection G, Par. ii: if the fighter states that they can continue on before the 5 minutes of time has expired, the referee shall, as soon as practical, restart the fight. Alex waived Herb off after Hill’s foot connected with AP’s cup (wherever it landed last, the hollow sound of a steel/ plastic cup is incontravertibly audible). Herb called “time out”. Alex hopped **once** simultaneously *as* Herb was calling “time out”. Herb then called “time in” and Hill and Alex formally reengaged by *tapping gloves* then hand fought twice before alex faked a right as Hill threw his first left straight which Alex slipped and deflected before countering with a left shovel cut. There was appox 3-4 seconds of hand-fighting after tapping gloves for Hill to have refocused. Alex won the handle-battle and foot position before the time out was called. Hill was check-mated fair and square. In a championship title fight one should never lose focus even for a millisecond. There are *no* excuses, ever (least of all headlining a historic UFC 300 PPV titlefight). Credit to Luke Thomas (for fight analysis) and John McCarthy (reg. rules and regs) who break this fight down in detail.

    He is not wrong. Alex sneakily took two steps in during Herb Deans interference. Which is huge for a technical striker.

    i see how that played a part. Jamal probably still thinking about the nutt shot, was it even a nut shot, glove tap. no fault of Alex but that definitely is how he ko jamal at that moment, i think he would have won anyways by ko/tko but just a bit later

    Guys here are talking about Jamahal as sort of a bum and a no good fighter. Get in the ring with him and you guys probably wont even last a minute. If this guy becomes a champ again, the same guys who are quick to say he's a bum will start to get back in his bandwagon again. At some point in the future, he and Alex hopefully get to rematch and it will be a war regardless of who's gonna win. War Jamahal 'Sweetdreams' Hill. Dont let these trolls put you down.

    14:41 James, you're awesome, but no one goes to MMADecisions to see what a dozen of predictable media know-nothings thought. The main value of MMADecisions is seeing what THOUSANDS of fans thought of each round. Those two data are incomparable.

    I get selling the fight but Hill did it in a strange way… The trash talk about being able to be a champion kick boxer and how he hadn’t seen skills like Hill had was just didn’t land because it was so silly. Like Hill is a tough guy but doesn’t have anything special other than that.
