Total luck. Be serious. Once you are past mid court you only bank lay ups and jumpers at angles in the paint. Congrats on the win but he wasn’t trying to bank it. Not at this level for sure.

If you remember in 2006 with Adam Morrison. ULCA made the game winning shot to defeat Gonzaga. That's why this made it so much sweeter.

Too bad you are way too young to have seen the great John Wooden UCLA teams of the 60s and 70s. Nine national titles in ten years, their full court press was something else it went on all game long, opposing teams lost their composure and the turnovers were too many to count and of course the Bruins scored on those turn overs, next thing you know they were up by 20, then 30 or more several minutes to half-time. Blowouts were the norm when you played UCLA in those days.

That is what March Madness is all about! We are so proud of our Zags here in WA, but UCLA has no reason to hang their heads. Great game!

So, my whole family are really big Zags fans. My grandpa and his 2 brothers actually went to Gonzaga University. So, we were watching this game and we were all extremely scared, and when UCLA tied it at the end of the game, we totally thought we were going into another overtime. When Suggs took that shot, we saw the ball for one second, and the next, we were all up and screaming. I cried it was so amazing. The Gonzaga Bulldogs totally deserve this win.

I remember watching this before going to sleep. I was gonna be really bummed that it would go into 2OT, but this man saved it. I thought it would be a buzzer beater the second he got the shot off.

I'm 70, and that was the BEST NCAA hoops game I've even seen, and the MOST thrilling finish!!! 👏👏👏 The Zags beat my Creighton Bluejays in the Sweet 16. 😢 After that, I did want to see them play Baylor (the final was a dud). but I felt sorry for the Bruins! Huge congrats to the Baylor Bears!!!
