Julius Randle has started every game he’s played over the last 5 years (during which time he had a top 10 finish for MVP, a couple of All-NBA teams and multiple time All-Star); he’s started almost 90% of games overall in his career. OG Anunoby has been a starter in 6 out of his 7 seasons, a career that includes an All-Defensive team. Mitchel Robinson has been the starting center for 3 years since he turned 22 years old, up until this year because of how well Hartenstein filled in during injury. But Robinson is considered one of the best rebounding big-men in the game. Even our bench player Bogdonovic was a starter vast majority of his career, albeit for less talented teams.

let this sink in, Jalen Brunson is the only Knick starter in the playoffs who was a starter when the season began. All other starters were supposed to be bench players, but due to injuries, they have to start. For them to get this far under those circumstances, who else has ever done that in the NBA playoff history, 4 bench players starting your playoff games????

To be fair though, Hartenstein is a better player than Robinson and Donte is better than Grimes. Hart is starter worthy talent. I wouldn't call them "bench quality players". This shows how much depth the Knicks have. It would be crazy if they had Randle, OG, Robinson and Bogdanovic.
