Jalen brunson is like Allen iverson skills with Chauncey billups leadership. He's been a champion at every level basketball, High School, Mr Illinois basketball. Took USA u-18 to a gold medal. College 2 time national champion with Villanova. Dragged mavs with no Luka to the WCF, then now has turned the knicks into a team that are 1 game away from the same feat. He'll be a champion at the professional level too, maybe not this year but definitely in his career. 💯 🏀 👑

Idk about the championship but for some reason they hard to go away , they keep coming back … this is a team that’s supposed to be out of this series long ago , how do they keep coming back tho….they have most of their key players injured, bogdanavich, anunoby , randall and mitchell robinson all of them with asterisks and the knicks keep coming back..maybe that’s the type of resiliency needed to win the chip who knows the heat reached the finals with butler so why can’t brunson do that as well

I for one was mad when the Mavs let him go and wanted him there, but this was the better move for him. NY is his team and he has full control. Almost no one could have predicted this when they signed him. People were saying he is not a max player, etc. What he has is top of the line tenacity, calmness and ability to perform in the playoffs. No one knows if he could get a Championship yet, Boston & Denver are more proven but Brunson is knocking on the door for sure.

The NY Knicks will win at leat two championships with Brunson in the next 5 or 6 years, if they make the right trade next summer. They should package Randle, Robinson and draft picks to get that 30-45 playoffs points solid and skilled second option. Winning this year would be a bonus.

Step 1: Sports media arrives late to the party by FINALLY paying attention to players other than the 1 or 2 they usually obsess over. Step 2: Overcompensate for being late by creating new and unrealistic expectations for the player they've been ignoring. @@nydibs that's why they should push it, like the Nuggets, Knicks, and Heat do. AG is an offball foul machine, but gets 1-2 PFs per game - 3 if he is flagrant. Joker fouls like Shaq with body, and for those rebounds - rarely called after first mvp. So wolves need to dare the refs to have them foul out with BS calls. I stopped liking Joker as he and Malone whined more and more with bs small market & ref narratives. Wallmart is big market. Liking Luka more as he whines less with Kyrie and Kidd. In every series noticing refs allowing moving picks, and calling Offensive charges instead of moving blocks. Killer for good D, and penetration - favors slower, bulky players.

They even tried getting the same calls on the offensive side and got called for 4 straight charges in the 2nd quarter and a travel Wolves start to get frustrated then fall apart, same thing that happened to Denver in game 2. Refs have heavily favored Denver since game 3
