Yes I would, Luka was better this reg.season he avg 34ppg (1st in the nba) 10A (2nd) 9r (1st among guards) on 62%ts and was 2nd in PIE (player impact) - so he avg 8ppg more while avg more apg and still those 34ppg on great efficency(better than kobes,mj,kareem, hardens best scoring seasons)

MVP has traditionally taken team success into account. Not only that but Jokic broke all sorts of advanced stats record this season. Luka fell well behind in both those metrics.

Only Greeny and others would try to discredit last years title run. 1st seed will always play the 8th. Then do you want the nuggets to play a clippers team with no Kawhi and no PG13? Then do you want the nuggets to play a Memphis grizzles team with no Ja and Steven Adams or a Warriors team whose only threat was Curry? Sometimes you need to recognize how tough getting 16 wins in the playoffs is. Also, never been tested???? They came back from 3-1 twice

Rudy stayed with him on pretty much every play but Jokic is just a savagely fundamental and skilled, and he would have done that to everyone in the world last night. Yes, Shaq. But after Shaq left, he went to another 3 straight finals, lost 1 but won 2 in a row after that. Thats *DOMINANCE* my dude. So plz put some *RESPECT* on Kobe's name.

Could be argued when it's all said and done. But there are so many others that were dominant in their own right (Kareem, Shaq, Hakeem, Wilt, Russell - and Jokic is just on that fringe looking in). I would put him above my favorite center ever in David Robinson or another dominant center in Moses Malone at 6 right now.

I would say Jokic is closing in but not there yet. I'm glad Mad Dog corrected Perk when Perk said Jokic was the most skilled center. Mad Dog said Jokic was the most (Offensively) Skilled Center...those are two different things. The Great Hakeem Olajuwon is probably the most Skilled Center Ever being Great at both sides of the ball with hardly any weaknesses. One of the greatest two way players ever who led his team to a title without a star and is in conversation of winning the hardest ring ever on his second title run. Also finished his career top 10 in about 5 different categories. Russell and Hakeem are in conversation as the Greatest Defender ever Shaq had one of the greatest peaks ever and most imposing force Wilt also in conversation as most dominant and has so many unbroken records Kareem most celebrated center with winning accolades from both college and pros and was also a two way threat Russell won 11 rings....most winning player To crack this top 5, you need a whole career
