Reminds me of a friend I knew in high school. He passed on the following year after graduation and I barely knew the guy but I knew he was a such a nice guy. I heard this quote and I think it must have been meant for him "He was such a good person that G-d could only loan him to us for a short time." That's what I think when you hear people who pass so young.

It hurts but it’s not f’d up...this is only the beginning... Plus, because ppl don’t know much about what happens after death, the unknown is what scares them. For me, not so much anymore because I’ve read scripture specifically speaking on it..so, it made it more comforting to have an understanding of what happens next. Peace n blessings.

I lost my brother a month ago and it still hurts

I met him when I worked at the court house. He was there for a custody hearing and even though he was sad he was very kind and nice. We didn’t ask for pictures but me and my co worker gave him a hug and told him everything would work out. He was kinda like he is in the video really sad but we tried to give him words of wisdom. He’s so nice

I had the honor and the privilege to meet both Kelly Williams (Laura Winslow) and Michelle Thomas just months before her untimely passing. She was such a sweet person. God bless her and the family.

Another note: when he said she died of stomach cancer, quickly.....that is accurate. I remember watching the show and noticed on certain episodes she was losing weight extremely fast. But I never paid it no mind cause she was funny as hell. The last episode of the show when she came to watch steve urkel in space, I'm like why is she so skinny? So yes, I understand what he means.

Simd26 Tyler has explained many times he grew watching very little tv. I think it's just hard for people to imagine others who don't keep up with the world of entertainment. FYI those of us who watched the show aren't all aware she's dead. Whenever I see her death mentioned it's usually still people scattered throughout shocked that she died so long ago and they didn't know it. I have an 11 year old niece who doesn't know a thing about 90s tv unless we have gone out of our way to make sure she's seen shows like Martin. She loves the Bad Boys 2 DVD, and was shocked and surprised that Mike Lowry was also The Fresh Prince of Belair when she finally saw that show.

He can say he didn't watch TV all he wants we weren't around him to verify that that's true. It hilarious, how covenant that when he reads for Jaleel it's his Co-star that pops up. Now let's say it was his Grandfather, aunt, grandmother, etc. Then that would be more believable. Additionally even if that was the case you can still find that out from simply searching. Idk how many episodes I've seen but I have seen him supposedly pick up from non famous family members. The celebrities have said things like "wow, I've never told anyone that." I wonder what a google search would return on the Lawrence brothers uncle who wasn't famous? I don't know, but I guess all the celebrities are just lying or reading from the script of Tyler's show. No way could someone be truly psychic if they "picked up" on something that's in google. I could see if someone saw all the episodes and he only ever picked up on public information, but ok. 👌

Thrilliam Gunz yeah he was with her when she passed, I saw a video of him talking about Michelle and the relationship that he had with her. She died of stomach cancer in 1998.

I just recently lost a friend, my best friend, to stomach cancer. He was only 35 . Nobody should ever have to lose a friend or loved one at such a young age.

I have seen a lot of readings from this show and i gotta say this is the only one that i truly still tear up on.

I was SOOO hurt when I found out she passed. Jaleel really has a piece of his heart missing for her

I met her once in NY randomly on the street around '95. I recognized her and we spoke for all of like 30 seconds/ a minute. Greatest smile ever! I hated when she died.

I ran into her twice the Memorial Day weekend in 95 down @ VA beach and the 2nd time we walked and talked along the strip. SUPER sweet person. She kept apologizing for not being able to come speak to me and implored me to wait. I was flabbergasted, to say the least, and so were my boys. I still have her autograph, and when she died I was devastated. Ironically, 2 separate women who didn't know each other thatI was cool wit at the time knew her and would hang with her back up in Jerz and Cali. Crazy. RIP Michelle. I still think about u sometimes. Gorgeous smile and so beautiful.

It’s sad to see time pass, people grow up to be old & people pass away. I wish we could just be stuck in everlasting time.

Michelle Thomas was an absolutely dropdead BEAUTIFUL woman, and very talented actress. I had the BIGGEST crush on her back in the 90’s. God, she was sexy. So horribly heartbreaking. I remember when that happened, and I shed some serious tears. Not just because I had a celebrity crush on her, but because Family Matters was (and is) one of my absolute FAVORITE shows of all time. Can tell she and Jaleel were very close off the set. So sad 😞 😔 😢

Michelle is one of the most sweetest friendliest human beings ever to walk in this world and her passing was just heart shattering beyond repair and I’ll admit I just can’t watch family matters nor the Cosby show without tears spewing out of my face just the mere sight of her we miss her every second ❤️ 💜 but i know she’s having so much fun in the paradise Ameen

I don't understand it either. A latina woman, maria, who worked at a chiropractic office I've been going to for the last 3 months, passed away this past Saturday 4/30/22. She was so sweet, and kind. And tbh, i didn't need to go into that office as often as I did. But I did it bc she was there. Most of the clients weren't Hispanic but I am, so we had our "secret conversations" in the open, and it was our little moment each week. I barely knew her. So why am I so torn up. Her employer said she died of pericardial effusion. I noticed she was sick but I thought it was a light cold, and that it would pass. I believe she was no older than 55. But like you said, people smoking 2 packs, a week, eating garbage food, and drinking but live long. I swear, this version life is for the bad people. The pure and good people always seem to be taken before their time is up. I don't know why it has to be this way....

Janell Benarroch what little girl didnt? I mean when i first saw him on that first episode "dr. Urkel Mr. Cool" when he first became Stephan i was only in 2nd grade and i thought he was so fine. My dad met him at a 100 black men here in Charlotte summer of 1994 and my dad told him what a fan i was of his and he told my dad he'd be playing in a charity tennis match that next day and to bring me to see him. I was so nervous that next morning that it took me forever to eat my breakfast and my brother and my cousin who was staying with us for the summer and my parents were rushing me to hurry up so we could go meet him. Idk what the heck was wrong with me besides i had a crush on him and nervous to meet him. I could not for the life of me hurry up with my food cuz all i could think about was how nervous i was gonna be when i saw him. Stupid me took forever and ended up missing the charity tennis match and we didn't go meet him.

I read that Jaleel was so emotionally drained after this that after this guy told Jaleel that Michele said she enjoyed the last dinner they had together and that she cared for him deeply, that Jaleel said thank you and told this guy to get out of his house. I’d love to know who thought it was a good idea to put him through this. It’s well known that he can’t talk about her without crying. He can’t even say her name. It’s cruel to play with his very raw emotions for ratings.
