JALAPENO POPPERS | How to make Jalapeno Cheddar Poppers

Today I am making delicious Cheddar filled Pickled Jalapeno Poppers. I love the combination of using pickled jalapeno and sharp cheddar cheese. The crunchy texture from the panko bread crumbs makes this the perfect snack or appetizer.
INGREDIENTS
12 oz can pickled jalapenos
8 oz block sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1 cup plain bread crumbs
1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
2 large eggs
1/2 cup water
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 tsp to 1/2 tsp onion powder (optional)

This was AMAZING! I was freaking out because I had slices of jalapenos in the can but then I just put cheese in the middle of two slices like a jalapeno sandwich and prayed for the best! It still came out bomb :D

Hi! Found your recipe a week or so ago. Pickled my peppers last night and prepped them this morning with my daughter! Arby's are hard to beat and they are cream cheese as well (here in northeast Arkansas). I have never took the time to make Jalapeno poppers from scratch but you can bet I will now :)

The reason why you need to freeze them which I don't understand why she didn't mention, is because the bread crumbs will fall all apart once you put it in the oil and also the cheese will melt way too soon, and cheese will be oozing out everywhere before the bread crumbs gets crispy on the outside so yes definitely freeze them

You, my good Lady, are awesome! That recipe is foolproof. I've been cooking for years and even grew up in NM but have never made poppers. I am SO making these.🖒 My partner has a sensitive tummy and its frustrating when I cook, I like some of my food with a kick, but if he doesn't want any, then more for me. LoL I like the pickled aspect of the Jalapenos, nice, and the drying, flour and freezing, I never would've thought of that, especially the freezing, and it makes total sense. This is the best video/recipe I have seen on youtube. I notice other youtubers are using uncooked fresh jalapeños prior to frying. When they bit into them, it looked like the jalapeño was still raw.

Just got some jalapenos from the garden and usually do then stuffed with cream cheese and wraped in bacon but cheddar poopers are my absolute favorite! Your recipe is the only one i came across that look restaurant quality lol so i will be making these tomorrow thank you so so much for uploading!!
