At this point I just believe every word out of James' mouth. Like if he said "I once skydived off a plane on the back of an alpaca wearing nothing but a little black dress" I'd be like, yep absolutely plausible, classic James haha. I mean it was always going to be James, but Oti's and especially Lee's stories were brilliant

She laughed so much she cried.....Lee Mack one of my favourite panelist.

I knew it was James when I noticed that the guy Jake smiled at one point even before James was about to say something funny about him, implying that he knew what James was going to say.

Lee killed me with his "voting for the wrong person" joke. But then David finished me with that "rise of fascism" joke.

@@shmiqqy I can't speak for the audience but I found it contentious because the idea that Hitler was elected is a complete myth. He was appointed by the German elite, and then legitimised his rule with a fake vote held at gunpoint

I think Rob stays polite in his role on tv but definitely dominates the conversation when in private. I think Lee is the one that gets "dissed" sometimes haha, in a friendly manner, by David and Rob. Given the vlogs and other shows/footage I've seen online.

When was the last time a team captain was the truth teller for the "This is my..." section. They must have long since run out of true stories so these days it's a 50-50 toss up betwen the two guests.

Interesting fact that I don't know if you've noticed.... James Acaster has never told a lie on on the show despite several appearances. Not one that's been broadcast anyway. Even in the round with the mystery person and 3 different stories, it has always been James's that is true.

With lies like Lee's I always wonder, would he really have exchanged contact details with a guy he knocked in a hole?

You have to give credit to the guests who can keep a straight during the stories. For me, the way Jake was breaking at 5:02 and beyond convinced me James was telling the truth. Those seemed like laughs of embarrassment/recognition, not of incredulity. I don't really blame the guy though, James was really making it difficult for him. Maybe not the best strategy on his part, but it made for good content!
