I feel like somebody on the Bruins coaching staff needs to watch this and be reminded of it, and also remind Jake. This part of his game is completely gone.

Needs to go back to driving to the net and getting his stick in shooting lanes. Just scored a nice breakaway goal, but he's having a tough year because he's not getting to the dirty areas!

@@hatrickane i dont think hes gonna be good somewhere else. he has no heart. he glides around and extends his arm / stick to play "defense". he refuses to take a hit to make a play, he doesnt hit anymore and he wont fight for pucks in corners. he plays like a scared 18 year old thats 165 pounds that was just drafted. i cant believe its the same guy as before.

Yeah all these 30+ goal scorer comments aren't looking too good right now. Not sure whats up with debrusk, he doesn't have the same bite that he did.

@@hatrickane Not sure what is going on with him (personally or medically), but he has no drive. Before he would skate as hard as he could, win battles and get into high-scoring areas. Now he just glides around the ice. The effort is at best 40%, and thats only when he has the puck or thinks he is goign to get a good break. He isn't creating anything with his speed and isn't winning any battles. The bridge deal is starting to look like the better option compared to a long-term sign. Hopefully he can turn it around, without him scoring the Bruins have no depth outside 1st line, Coyle and Krejci, and to an extent Smith. We know that Kase is not coming back this season, if he does it will be limited and he will play a couple games then he will either get re-injured or have post-concussions symptoms.

@@tylerdubois9020 he's gotta get back to 1) driving the net, and 2) setting up out front for tips. Didn't realize how much he did it two years ago to score all those goals. I looked for this video, because I thought he was just scoring all his goals off the rush and flipping the puck top shelf blocker side every time. How quickly I forgot how good he used to be around the net. Bruins staff needs to emphasize this part of his game. He's still young, so he can turn it around. Too much potential for him to be a bum.

I think I figured out part of what's missing that he had. Torey Krug! Dude is so good at finding sticks with his shot and debrusk's stick is great at finding the puck in flight.

This guy is a baby ,he wants out of Boston. He should be listening to coach Cassidy and improve in the areas the coach wants. So what?If you were scratched a game. I hope my team doesn't get this baby.Lets Go Rangers!!!!
