I've been having the same problem across the board with multiple channels! I've been thinking I was accidentally unsubscribing or the kids were but I've seen a couple people having similar problems now 🤔

Don’t sell yourself short, you know your shit. From one diesel mechanic to another, I’d be proud to work with ya. Merry Christmas 🎄 to you and yours sir. Shame we won’t see a 90’s hair band cover band bus get tortured this year at the holidays, but a Jake rebuild will suffice. Keep er between the mustard and the mayo. Gotta say, Peg will be pissed- there were 0 cans of Cosby in a can used on that old start cold start.
Came from watching a wagon building channel to see an engine brake be rebuilt. Ill never do either, but it is so fascinating.

That old Ferd has a very slight exhaust leak lol. Great explanation during the rebuild. My Dad used to say to learn something new every day & I just did. Thanks for sharing.

My 800k miles 3046b starts on the frist turn dead cold. So glad it does.
im confident ill never rebuild a jake but i still watch these videos all the way through.
I always wondered how Jakes worked and watching you tear down and rebuild really helped me to understand how they function. Thanks for the great video.

A Jacobs brake takes potential energy and expels it out the exhaust. You only need to use them when necessary. As when the exhaust valve opens, it causes the piston rings to relax rapidly. Normally you should not have a problem. In some cases and with a worn piston ring (top). It can snap the ring over time.
Watching from the 876 🇯🇲🇯🇲, always look forward to your videos 👌🏿

I know you think working on these engines is boring stuff. I see them as interesting. You have a skill, and I enjoy watching your work.
Peanut gallery observation: What a complicated work of art contraption, and this is just one part of the overall engine. I'm amazed at the engineering minds and expert machinists that made these Jake brake parts. Dangggg!
I absolutely do not know a damn thing about diesel engines. I do thoroughly enjoy watching your videos of rebuilds, and your crazy shenanigans. Love watching you blow up, and destroy old semi working engines. Keep the cool videos coming brother.
Love the way these old truck start up ..reminds me of the old WW2 aircraft starting up
Another fantastic video. You should give yourself more credit, your commentary and explanations are superlative.
Some of my best teachers were uneducated. Thanks for making a video .
Straight into it that’s the part I love about this channel.
You may be a hillbilly, but you're a very gifted one who takes pride in his craft. You and Jonathan W. should get together, I bet you guys would have a 1000 hp steam power 3406 mounted in a rat rod Peterbuilt in two days!

Probably zero chance of me ever doing these. But it sure was fun watching you do them. Keep the vidyas coming bud, us smooth brains love them
Great job, keeping things cleaned and organized during the job. Merry Christmas! Love your videos.
New to the diesel tech field, family has run a lot of these 3406/C15s over the years and I always wondered what went into these things! Awesome video as always, loved learning something new!!
You could have posted this two weeks earlier! I just rebuilt mine, and couldn't find a good video on this anywhere. So i struggled through. Wasnt really that hard, if it comes out one way, the new ones need to go back in that way. But i was alittle unsure of myself going in. Great video.
I like the fact that you put care and attention to detail into both the serious work and the screwing around.
Man o man, another great video, never get tired of watching you work, keep em coming!!!
I can watch these vids all day. You're an amazing talent to watch
love all your videos and just wana tell you that i’ve been in the trucking business for 32 years and the knowledge you have puts you in a class with not very many other people nowadays. have a very merry christmas and look forward to your next video👍

Another great how-to vid. Awesome to have someone showing this. Us Hill-Billy's can do whatever we set our minds to!!
Hi Jamie from Australia, thanks for the video, this and your other videos on C15 stuff has been invaluable, it's saved me money on taking things to the shop to get done, thanks very much for your detailed videos 👍🏻🇺🇸🇦🇺
I don't know why but everytime you post up a video I chuckle a few times. Keep up the great work.
I still watch every one of your uploads!
Definitely my favorite channel right now. Learning so much!
…great to watch ~ excellent exposure. Good stuff KT, thanks. You’ve got very good hands. 👊
So I know these videos are super boring for you to make, but this is the kind of stuff I like to see you do!
Nothing like a cool morning, fresh air, sunshine and a cup of coffee and the smell of diesel exhaust exhaust on a cold start of a Cat Diesel engine, it just doesn’t get any better , never gets old. Marry Christmas and happy festivus for the rest of us🤪😃👍
Love your videos. You sound like a young guy but have that old timer work attitude where everything was done right the first time. You are a master of your craft.
Loved the video! I had jaks on the 8v71 on the GMC bus we redid (inside and out) for a close friend of mine. I never have had jaks apart. Put power steering and an allison 740 in it to make it a lot more user friendly for my friend. Gave the 8v71 a once over including running the overhead. They used that bus for about 8 years with minimal problems mainly radiator, fan belt, and wheel bearing issues.
I like they way u show people how to do things it straight forward and easy and u make me understand what u are talking about I’m from fergus Ontario Canada and l love your show keep up the good work dude
