Ever have any issues with the shifter?

Out of all the main issues cars tend to have, why ask about the shifter? Like are you really that dumb? The main issues with Jaguar XKs and XJs are the timing chain guides, valve cover gasket leaks and rear main seal leaks. Nothing too crazy but these 4.0 Liter V8s are extremely reliable. Also the transmission is made by Mercedes so it will last for years.

I guess because the shifter fails on a great many of these and on some it will no even move. So you cannot drive. And in america these parts are not easy to find. But I guess its dumb to want to know about it? Whatever

That is because it is not an xjr. That one has a supercharger.
