Brings back memories when the wife left the keys in her 205 1.8 grdt at the petrol station ... Police found it 40 minutes later on a back road with no engine in interior immaculate ... seems as if they had folded everything in and whipped the engine out as if it was done in the factory Great content Rob & Chris ....

Love these vids, keep them coming. I can see a television series in the making, Mark my words, this is that good.

Time lapse and music is spot on 👍 I'm really surprised that TDV6 fitted in the Jag, it looked like a squeeze in the Disco 3 my late grandad had. It will be interesting to see what's different in the RR Sport lump, ECU, BCM, Sump, Sensors, Looms, the list goes on what could be different. Looking forward to seeing it 👍👍

Looking forward to this refit Rob . I have got a xj6 2.7 twinturbo sat in my garage that suffered a diesel runaway at 60 thou and melted the crank into the mains caps (out of my brotherinlaws Jag ) I have always fancied getting a salvage flood damaged motor to rebuild . This project will either spur me on or frighten me off lol yours will no doubt bent a few rods . Great that you are doing this on the channel, bring it on something new and interesting every week Regards Rich

I've done a jag S type engine into a discovery, you have to swap everything, it's all different. Wiring, fuel pump, turbo, manifolds, injectors, egr's, all pipes, sump & pick up, all brackets, the bloody lot!!!

I have done this job last month, will never do it again, I promise! the bloody diesel pump takes over an hour and a half to be moved over!

salvage rebuilds uk That’s such a shame, seeing a twin turbo version done in a RR would be something different. Are you going with the single turbo as it is in the RR at the moment?

It pained me to see what you done to that S Type, I have a 4.2 L v8 S Type Jag . I am enjoying the videos keep them coming.

That’s turning out to be a cheap tdv6 ,yeah tunes on the time laps gets my vote ,BRING ON THE SPORT 👍😊
