Jaguar F-Type R75 -

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

For over a decade, the F-Type has been Jaguar's sports car. It's ticked every single box on the sports car checklist to qualify-a sporty and sleek design, a potent powertrain, a purposeful driving position, a snarling soundtrack, and above all else, a pedigree of sports car ancestors dating as far back as the 1930s. Trace the F-Types family tree back nine generations, and you'll be rewarded with the most spectacular list of sports cars and racing cars.
This is the Jaguar F-Type R75 Coupe Plus, and despite being based on a model that's now over ten years old and powered by an engine initially used in the mid-1990s, it is possibly the most significant Jaguar sports car ever - for one very unfortunate reason: it's the ending to a very substantial story.
The F-Type R75 is now the final run for not only Jaguar sports cars but also Jaguar sports cars with internal combustion engines. Once production of the F-Type R75 ends, Jaguar sports cars will 'roar' no more.

Idiotic - I have 2023 F-Type P450 and F-Pace SVR P550, with 2025 F-Pace Edition 575 on order. Iconic engine whether mated to sports car, SUV or sedan. Total insanity if they stick to plans for pure BEV, at the expense of that engine and those vehicles. they have soul - EV do not

The move to BEV appliances will either end Jaguar, or they will morph into a shadow of their former selves with cookie cutter SUVs and slide into obscurity. I'm hoping a biofuel renaissance will catch the fall of interesting and fun cars before it's too late.

A very good video and I wholeheartedly agree! A Jaguar should purrrrr if it's a luxury saloon, or ROAR if it's a sports car. It seems, just recently, a few manufacturers are pulling back from their pure EV future plans, and I hope Jaguar does too. Mercedes have recently confirmed the new CL63 will be powered by the 4 litre Twin Turbo V8, as sales of the C63 saloon and estate with a 4-cylinder hybrid have been much lower than their predecessors. It'll be a sad day indeed when there are no more petrol engine Jaguars to stir the soul.

I own a Jag XKR- R X150 and I love getting in it and firing it up! Jaguar are in real trouble if they do not get the next stage in their re brand correct. All those great cars you mentioned including the Project 7, Project 8, XJR-575 and the XKR-S intend to be forgotten and pushed to one side by jaguar which is beyond ridiculous. The F-type could still be developed and new XJ and XK would be more than logical. We'll just have to wait and see what they do and hope it is something as amazing as what came before, somehow I doubt that will be the case though.

“Save A Jaguar”. - Felt the same as yourself and hence 144 days ago put one on the drive. F-Type R in BRG. Loving every moment I slide behind the perfectly sized tactile delight of heated leather enrobed steering wheel. Placing my rump between the sublime yet effective side cushions of the firm yet supportive seat before reclining to rest my back against a truly effective motor driven lumber support, my shoulders feeling the support from the chairs upper wings as my head rests against the firm yet cushioned headrest………All Day Comfortable 👌……….Did we say that it’s heated and cooled ? The only disappointment I’ve found is the face lifted models are less rowdy at lower rpm compared with the first generation.☹️. But on the upside the ride quality and handling balance are perfect for a daily driver across fen roads and should allow European touring in search of great driving roads to be pure pleasure and not pain. 👍😊 It’s up there with the Aston Martin DB11 V8 both have their strengths and weaknesses, both give you that inner glow and smile on the face when driven down the right road. “Long Live Jaguar”. PS The Adaptive Headlights are very good.

Love the V8 whether it’s the original 3.5 litre or the 3.9 litre or the 4.2 litre or the 4.4 litre Leyland Aussie mota or the 4.6 litre final version of the mota….. But Range Rover got really good when they dropped the 5.0 V8 supercharged jaguar mota into the beast!!!! EV’s are not the answer!!! Synthetic fuels will be the answer!!! There’s to much infrastructure to throw away from the gasoline industry!!! And let’s face it a wind farm can only last for twenty years and they require tons and tons of concrete and steel to make them!!!! And to manufacture cement you need to have a temperature of 1500 degrees to make it work!!!! And you can only get that type of energy from fossil fuels!!! I rest my case!!!! Regards Ian 👨‍🎤🇳🇿👍😎🍸🍸

V8 jags will not go away. Jaguar will do the same thing Ford did when it replaced the initial V8 in the Raptor with an "Eco-boost" V6. Only to bring back the V8 a few years later (recently) with a "new" V8 at a $30-40k premium over the V6 Eco-boost nobody asked for, wanted, or wants. Jeep did the exact same thing when it reintroduced the V8 on the Wrangler at a substantial premium a few years ago. Jaguar will follow suit. The reintroduction of the V8, after it is "taken away" will serve as a emotional/psychological mind chuck to get the consumer to look past the substantial car price hikes coming in the near future. Get ready to a V8 F-Type in the near future that will be priced 2x what it is now.

Pointless distraction of the technically great xj but who the feck was buying super saloons. JLR had delusions of thinking they were the next full range bmw type manufacturer but they never fixed the core reliability issues in part because they spread themselves too thin. Did the ipace (largely with steyr input) but then no follow up for how long? That car is lovely and a relative bargain but no one is walking from aston martin vantage to that , aston have cracked genuine luxury at low volumes . Jaguar is finished as a brand unfortunately due to british management arrogance and hubris .
