Twist was a young teen, that's barely literate at that age so hanging out with millionaires won't save you if you've got the education of a 14 year old. Where is Twist now? Where did hanging out with millionaires take him in the end? Maybe if he stayed in school he'd have a back up plan and live a comfy middle class lifestyle. In school you learn to read and write, understand complex text and maths. Education is important for maintaining wealth.

Nicki spoke about this before. Basically she was booked for her own club appearance/performance outta town and YM was recording Bedrock and she couldn’t make it to the session, bc she didn’t want to get sued, so Wayne got mad and kicked her out. So she wrote two verses for Bedrock and pulled up on Wayne at his house and rapped them for him and he really liked it and he put her on the song and she was back in YM.
