It differs from person to person. However, this resonates with me. I also found it helpful when I realized I didn’t have the language to describe the immense pain. Saying I’m really hurting wasn’t enough, to closest thing to what I was feeling was to say I was suicidal, however in therapy I realized, that I just didn’t have the language. People tend to not be that helpful/supportive unless you are in dire need. But we should have a way to communicate and get support before it gets to that point.

Grief is so different and until you have lost someone you loved so dearly with no closure , you will never understand the depths of pain. It’s easy to say “get over it “ because she married someone else doesn’t ease the pain, doesn’t just erase that part of her life. I lost my son 9 yrs ago and his wife is still single …my husband lost his first wife and he still cries it’s been 21 yrs for him. I don’t judge him because there is no time for grief and love doesn’t just die because the person dies it actually gets stronger because your mind needs protection from so much pain. I pray for Jada and her family it’s deep but I commend her for not committing suicide.

It had to be more impactful than she can admit. That one moment in time probably imprinted the unworthy feelings about men.. more than any other relationship. I found this very interesting and insightful. Steven, we love you and Jada I wish you the very best. Prayers. PS...people need to stop being so cruel! What an absolutely nonsense of a guest. Her kids mental health, her husband's mental health, and everything that she is, looka t her talk, she is a proper sociopath, with so many disorders, she is not inspiring at all. And somehow she is the victim? She has not done anything, any work, anyhting that adds any value to anyone's life, not even her family, what are you talking about! All she has been is a hoe and a drug dealer. She is a liar, manipulator, cheater, and she is pretty well-dcumented for all this to be backed by evidence. Her family has also spoken about this numerous times. Celebrating her, may just call for self-reflection on the part of those supporting her. She has not brought any value to anyone's life, and in fact, she has gone and destoryed, and she justifies it all by becoming the innocent victim of a tough childhood and bad choices. She takes no responsibility, and randomly goes into moments of grandiosity of owning the world of drugs and being unstoppable. What are you really celebrating or glorifying here? she has prolly ruined many innocent lives by supporting drug habits, including her children's.

So; like many other women who’s been overpowered (raped) out of a career, expected to be okay with babies a kitchen and a big house…you fall to the back! Shut up and try to salvage what you can…of YOUR DREAMS/CAREER. Jada wanted to be a blockbuster movie star and Golden Globe award-winning actress. That didn’t mean that she didn’t want those things for her husband but, little did she know she would have to sacrifice her career for someone else’s. So I understand all the great losses in Jada‘s life from Tupac to her best girlfriend to her career. She hasn’t talked much about her career death-hopefully that’ll be another book but I’m pretty sure that’s a big part of her anxiety, her career death! I ♥️ you Jada and I understand. Not easy when you're right in front of them, as their employee or husband or daughter. A life's work, for sure.

By far, one of the best, if not the best, interviewer / podcast host known to me. Every segment I have watched has been heartfelt, meaningful, and full of grace. Thank you for this interview. It showed a side of Jada most would never have known, yet judge according to what they thought was her truth. No one knows another's life experience. Less judgement, more love will save humanity. Prayers for this family, whose lives have been led astray. May they find their way back into the will of our Father, may we all find our way back to Him, for He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life - in all that life is meant to be. Godspeed ✞🕊

Last week, Gabor mate talked about how people behave when they’ve experienced trauma, especially childhood trauma it’s called trauma response. I could be wrong, but that’s what I see -- is jada’s trauma release. The way she behaved her whole life was a response to her not feeling loved, and now she’s unraveling it to the best of her ability. Great interview, I have compassion for her, and all of us who have been traumatized in childhood. May we all heal by hearing each others’s stories.

I went through things that would give her nightmares!!! I had to be rescued by a swat team. I ran to the other side of the US and he found me and I had to run into a different country. My nightmare wasn’t over there. In my state if one person requests marriage counceling , you both have to go before you can get a divorce. I begged my attorney to get me out of it. She said she couldn’t. I said no matter how good the councelor is, I won’t go back to him. I had already gave him several chances to change because my religion believes in one marriage. I was suppose to go to these counceling sessions 3 times a week for 6 weeks. After the second session as the councelor was leaving he saw my ex try to run me over with his car. I didn’t have to go back after that. The judge told me in all of his years he had never seen such horrible abuse!!! He said it was the worst case he had ever seen. Jada, we all have bad times in life!! Get over it and quit dragging Will through the mud. Quit living in your past and pay attention to the hurt you are causing your husband and your kids. You will lose your whole family if you don’t stop!!!!And for God sakes quit airing all your problems for the whole world to see!!! You have already hurt your husbands career with your shit!! You don’t deserve Will or your beautiful kids!!! Everyone is sick of hearing all of your problems!! You slept with your sons friend!! And you have humiliated Will over and over!!! Sometimes you don’t realize what you have until you lose it!!! You have a wonderful husband and beautiful kids…. For now!!! NEVER sleep with your kids friends and quit comparing Will with 2pac and quit talking about 2 pac!! You are a married woman!!! Act like it!! I hope Will and your kids walk away from you!! You hav damaged Will and your kids beyond repair!!! It’s not all about you!! You are the most selfish and whining person that has no idea your husband and kids hav feelings and you will lose them if you don’t quit!!!!!You lie constantly too. I catch. You lie constantly!!! You were never engaged to 2pac while he was in jail….he was already engaged to someone else!! If you are going to lie you better check the facts first !! You look stupid!!!

1:21:17 solid introspection here. Whether she believes it or not, that's something everyone needs to take seriously. If you don't know what you want or actually have a connection to yourself, you won't be able to explain your needs at all to a partner. Millions get through life bareably without truly connecting with themselves, because filling the box they were raised to fill feels like it's enough. Or by that time you're filled with regret because you realized you completed the life you thought the ones you looked up to told you to have.

I can't even begin to imagine the emotional and physical toll that experience must have taken on you. Caregiving is an immense responsibility, and it's easy to forget to take care of yourself when you're so focused on someone else's well-being. The breakdown you described sounds like a culmination of years of pent-up stress and exhaustion. It's a harsh reminder that we're not invincible, even when we try to be strong for others. I'm glad to hear you're on the path to recovery, even if it's a slow and vulnerable journey. Take all the time you need; healing isn't linear.

Healing yourself is a messy journey. I hope this interview will help those who are on that journey to heal themselves. Because this story of healing is playing out publicly. People are taking sides of who is right and wrong. In the 90's we had no tools to help us with our suicidal thoughts. I hope Jada's story will help someone out there to find the healing they need. Steven you sat in the mud with Jada for a while 🙌🏼 and that is a sign that you've showed up for this conversation with unconditional love, acceptance and non-judgement.

I read Will’s book so when the slap happened, I understood it on more than a surface level so I partially understand what Jada meant when she said the slap wasn’t about her. And I’ll read her book, too. We need to have much more compassion for each other because I KNOW if just the snap shots of my bad decisions and mistakes were public for everyone to judge, I’d be hated too. But if you read my life in full, you’d have better context- just like my friends and family who have always stood by me. I challenge everyone judging to look inward and do the same. What are you ashamed of? What decisions would you rather take to your grave than reveal? Now think about them being public for millions to judge without knowing who you actually are as a person. Would we villainize you, too?

Humans are multi-faceted. There's rarely all good and/or all bad. People make mistakes and people with a lot of trauma have a different way of thinking. Your upbringing affects so much of what you become and all the negative connotations to things are such a blocker to work around. No hate on Jada for sharing her story. It really helps understand her character. Wanting an escape and not having your needs met makes people do things that are illogical. Your brain will find a way to do that for you. I've learned from this channel 😅.

It is not true that Pinkett and Smith's differences are a metaphor for some inherent "difference" between men and women in relationships. Any differences in ways of thinking between my spouse and I are because we are different people who lived different lives before we came together, not because sexual biology pre-disposes my spouse to think one way and I another. There is so much ignorance toward the ways and which MOST boys and girls are raised and its impact on these stereotypical "differences" that manifest in adult relationships that keep us from healing and from seeing our partner and others for who they are - not the role they've been conditioned to fill and the psychoses that come with them.

I actually dont think she's fake, but like she's admitted herself she has a lot of unhealed trauma. I just don't think people are used to someone's vulnerability, emotions and trauma being televised. A lot of time when we traumatised, we re-live pain over and.over because its normal. I think once she let's go of Tupac and emotionally and mentally puts him to rest, she will find a lot of freedom but its clear how they ended is probably stopping her doing that. Also, back to Will. Its very clear Will wasn't her type and sometimes when you force something you can end up self-sabotaging. She's doing it over and over again televised. Another thing, that people aren't used to seeing. But we are all human, everyone's self-sabotaging at some point but we aren't televised doing it😅

She uses therapy not as a means to get better, but as her parachute to willingly do horrible things to other people, then shifts all the blame, guilt, humiliation onto them (the person who she initially hurt). After step one is accomplished she then becomes the perceived victim who "survived" the trauma (which she caused) and overly glorifies her recovery process to make it seem that it was a inspirational journey of self growth for her. She is the perpetrator, who uses peoples forgiveness as a way to manipulate them.

Wow. Astute about ability and perhaps drive to manipulate for power though far far too one sided. Will wanted/wants to “Rule the World” oh but that is ok and healthy and he is a victim? I think they were both/are both ambitious to a fault (society enables that so not saying they are to blame…we create celebrity) and maybe her more so still as she has perhaps not been humbled as maybe, maybe, maybe Will has been after a very public very bad mistake? She just “Wanted to look into his eyes” really? Cause she admits early on to being ambitious herself though it was like an aside not like taking authentic inventory and accountability…she liked Will’s ability to fit in anywhere which is liking a means to an end and power not a description that speaks to who the man is his strengths and concomitant vulnerabilities.

Exactly - How do you reform as a criminal? You simply redefine what a ciminal is.. and change that law..... in order for her not to be seen as the cheater... she now invents this story of them not being together. So, now she is the victim. If this host or others can't recognize a narcissist then its a real shame. And women will sympathize with her as no woman wants to take responsibility for cheating - its always someone else's fault.... (anyone with half a brain can see how hurt Will Smith was in that red table talk and how evasive she was - that's not a woman who had sex when they were on a break, thats a woman who had an affair) Why can't interviewers call her out or even ask her 'difficult' questions... ???

This video was posted less than 40 mins ago, which means no one has finished it and there are already people posting all these negative comments. A lot of the top comments were posted by people who created a narrative in their head before hearing her speak. This hate train is crazy and shows how people can turn into mindless zombies who would rather hate someone they don’t know, who has done nothing to them. The calibre of the people viewing this channel has gone down the drain.
