This podcast really helped me. I suffer from debilitating anxiety. Agoraphobia. And hearing Morgan say hey face it. Deal with it. And keep living. I almost canceled my hair appointment bc of my condition and I said screw it. I can do this. I can leave my house and be okay. And you know what? I am!

@@itscharliearthur9094a book I found helpful although it simply states the obvious was “Do it Anyway” from an author who spent 30 years in therapy. The idea being just go do your life despite your depression. Action, doing this, getting busy takes time away from lying in bed and going down the rabbit hole. And as you do things you ACTUALLY get better, just thinking about what’s wrong and what you COULD do or SHOULD HAVE done differently and finding things and people to blame and excuses for staying idle just drag you deeper in the hole. Trouble is once you’re way down there it gets really really hard to just brush your teeth. Ask for help. Ask a friend to give you a couple of days to get up the ladder far enough that you can keep climbing out of the hole. SRIs can stop the ladder rungs from breaking underneath your feet. Wish you good luck. And look up at the sky. There’s heaven above you.

Saran Kaur. Do you mean a lot of people in your country? Why don't you write that? Why don't you try and get some knowledge before you write a comment if that's supposed to be all that about all the people in Britain, or worldwide, because what you've written is a lie. My views are basically exactly the same as Piers Morgans, albeit probably mine are on a softer version, and I didn't need reminding about it because it's with me all the time, so stop thinking you know everything about everybody because you absolutely do not, you have a hell of a lot to learn just with the four simple lines that you've written, and thats "simple" in the context of "not that bright".

I totally disagree and I have no great love for Piers Morgan. This is a completely different format, it's long form ( literally over an hour and no ad breaks save for Steven telling us about the "journey" he's been on with Huel ) This type of podcast is about finding out who the person is, it's not supposed to confront them or be combatative. A program like Piers one on Talk TV is a completely different format, it's short segments usually about something very specific or topical. If you let the guest talk unchallenged they'll just filibuster, especially politicians who literally specialise in talking for hours whilst saying nothing at all usually. All the sad Tate fanboys were outraged that Piers had the temerity to challenge their hero on the utter bullshit he trots out, which he did a horrible job of defending for anyone remotely objective. Which I consider myself to be far more than the guy above in this comments section given I find Piers tiresome and irritating every bit as much as Tate. But actually in that interview where Tate would just have gassed on endlessly, having Piers challenge him was effective, particularly his ridiculous semantic gymnastics dodge rather than either just owning what he said or saying he no longer believed it. Either of those would be honest responses, not the one he went with which was classic victimhood bullshit that you're so misunderstood..

The way he is usually so sensationalist is what turns people away from him, and people don't to listen to him. The second AJS in a row that has to be put right: "People" written as you wrote it means everybody in the world, as you don't specify exactly who you mean, therefore you're stating that everyone in the world is that way, and that's obviously crazily bonkers and most furthest from the truth. All you have to do is add the word "certain" before "people" and that would be good enough. But having said that as for your main part of those specific people who have become that way, on the moral high ground in their own opinion, and think they have the right to be like a new Adolf Hitler or Benjamin Netanyahu and knowingly try to destroy peoples lives at their pleasure, for a sick few hours of entertainment for themselves before they go back to their own self-made depression, like my previous Doctor Christopher Longstaff tried, then yes you're absolutely right and these people need to be destroyed IMO.

Services are stretched due to people being referred to a service who are not mentally Ill but instead believe they are due to what society tells them. Jo, Jo. I respect your view totally as I have friends who are teachers and who are fed up with the apparent world view that teachers have to make up for all of societal failures by filling in the gaps of absent or inadequate parenting. However, I do believe that given the amount of time children are in school compared to the time spent at home, I am wondering if there is any merit in some of the life skills that Piers mentioned that could be taught at school - not by teachers perhaps but by other adults ? Perhaps volunteers could run a programme for this? I have met wonderful retired people whose chaotic childhoods were turned around by a teacher who went above and beyond and who steered them onto a more positive path and who would be willing to give something back to children who may benefit from such a programme. After all, it does indeed take a village to raise a child. Regards to all.

I don't think I have ever enjoyed an interview soooo much. I read a quote one day which changed my life "Other people's opinion of me is none of my business." My life has changed so much as a result of that quote. Wish I had seen it years ago; however, I saw when "I" needed to see it. I am entitled to my opinion, just as everyone else is, doesn't mean we all have to agree. Thank you again for this interview and your honesty.

I think he would be very happy about that. There are some people you don’t want to be on the same side as.

Wasn’t quite sure what I thought of Piers Morgan, but I now realize I agree with him on pretty much everything

I thoroughly agree with what Piers says about mental resilience. I have had parents die, divorced, major car accidents that were not my fault and I now have chronic physical pain. I have the ingredients to deal with these things.

What do you do for your chronic pain? Am genuinely curious to know. I am in so much pain and don't know what to do, and/or who to call for help.😢

If you are in chronic pain you should ask your doctor to refer you to the pain specialist. Let your docs know.. you may have a treatable condition like Fibromyalgia like I have. Good luck.

I never watched GMB in the morning but every night I always did and remember that day very well because I thought I’d never watch it again and I haven’t and I couldn’t wait for Piers to come back now my night s are filled again. My daughter says I always like the controversial people NO I just love people that speak with common sense. I ❤️Piers Morgan
