This is really a good song and humoristic. I like the way Jacques Dutronc tries to amuse the public. Above all don't forget he's a handsome guy, un beau gosse like we say in french. I'm from Belgium.

One of my very favorite songs. Jacques is quintessential cool. Et Moi (cubed), in my opinion, is one of the best albums of all time. When I visited France in 1989, my host family sat me down and played Jacques. I was blown away and still am.

Not really, I think he did pretty well. There are hints of the Sheffield accent coming through but that's difficult to get rid of. Trust me I know

Without TLSP a lot less people would know about this song. And the song itself is great of course but TLSP cover is really good and it brought the old song into the modern sound and that's awesome. I didn't know this tune before, for example, and now I'm glad that I do, although I prefer TLSP version.
